this is why i was considering the second morphagene, but will take the 4ms now instead.elxsound wrote: Sat May 13, 2023 3:47 pm I’m looking to start adding resampling in the mix of things via Morphagene (thanks Vurt for the suggestion - seems obvious, but needed the push).
the previous morphagene thing, where i slowed down all my oscillators before recording, then slowed the audio down in morphagene...
now ill be able to repeat the process over and over on the rack
getting down to 4/8 times slower (before it becomes all space between the noises)
but with filtering and other processing between too...
full noise tracks, from what is essentially a split second of analog audio

Understood, but time well spent obsessing over how you will implement and incorporate it into your system, me thinks. I know you can hear it already.
Notwithstanding you can get started straight away by recording into it, and playing that back immediately...
Do you have a micro SD card reader, to transfer samples to/from your computer?
Do you have additional micro SD cards which you can pre-load?
Do you have samples (any length) that you KNOW will sound awesome, or can be used as/for modulation, triggers, or gates, and want to re-name/pre-arrange and organize into a folder(s) in advance, per the naming convention in the manual? (aside) the 4GB sample length (max) per sample = (approximately) 6 hours of 16/44.1 stereo.

Have you downloaded the firmware update*?

Do you want a Black face-plate replacement panel?

covered for a reader, no cards to preload, will get a couple delivered with it.
but can start organising a few bits to drop straight in when it arrives
probably stick with white faceplate, because then im straight in the rack, no messing about
