New "Setup Rack Sidechain" function.
Thanks! that's a big step forward in workflow now

A side question:

Is Mulab responding to the double click speed mouse button configuration?
I noticed this because there's a "errant" right click when the mouse config on double click is very fast.
Using Windows 10 here.

Yes.

I don't understand what you mean. Please describe the issue in more detail.

Sure:

When the mouse button double click settings is configured to quite fast, there's a very short time in the right click, for example:
On Composer Modular Area, when doing right click to see the menu, it has to be very fast, according to the Windows mouse settings.
That result in a quite hard to reach the time to popup the menu, so, the "hand" that serves to show that the cursor is now for dragging the view..

i don't know if i was clear, i try my best to describe with words, maybe a video if you want.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

The reason is that the doubleclick time setting is also used to detect a click-hold = drag.
If the right-click time is uncomfortably short for you i suggest to increase the doubleclick time setting until you find a good balance.

Yep, i noticed this. This not ideal, but not big deal neither.
i suggest to increase the doubleclick
i already did this. :tu:

MuLab App 9.1.9 for Windows 64 bit is available here: https://www.mutools.com/mulab/app/lates ... 64-exe.zip

MuLab Plugin 9.1.9 for Windows 64 bit is available here: https://www.mutools.com/mulab/plugin/la ... 64-dll.zip

Put the new MuLab.exe/dll and MuLab.ID files in your existing MuLab 9 folder thus overwriting the previous MuLab.exe/dll and MuLab.ID files.

Changes:
  • New "MIDI Controller Filter" module.
The events that are filtered thru go to output 1, all other events (= filtered out) go to output 2.
  • When moving a rack slot with aux inputs/outputs to another slot, it could be that the aux routing was lost. Fixed.
  • Setup Rack Sidechain: When the source output list only contains 1 rack slot, it now is fully expanded for quick aux output selection.

Still beta (no macOS build), I take it? Any idea when it'll move to stabilisation and release? (There's a couple of bits in 9.1 I could use but I don't want to upgrade from 9.0 until it's stable now - I've not had much time lately.)

Yes still beta atm, but next steps are finalizing M9.1 towards its release.
So very next step is building the new MacOS versions.
That might take some time because i have a Mac M1 available now but that requires a resetup of the build environment.

Sounds good!

Thanks for the updates. Nice stuff as usual 👌

Regarding the stutterer I would like to request an improvement regarding note length. Currently you can only define a percentage based length. However I would love to use this thingy with an explicit length for each triggered note (which can be changed real-time if desired). So a mode would be nice to switch between % and explicit length (musical units OR milliseconds depending on the user's settings).

Hope you like that.

Cheers,
Oli

Hi Oli, quick reply: What about hooking up a Note Length Modifier after the Note Stutterer?

Post

Ah, yeah, that would be a nice idea indeed 💡
Eventually it makes sense to integrate something like it anyways. But nice solution, that helps 😊

Thanks 🙃

Yay! Thank you!

If you are using Xcode: :-o   :help:
With each new version, I hate Xcode more and more. But again, thank you for making the conversion. I hope it wasn't too painful, if at all. This means I won't have to go a different route with another DAW (yes, apparently they exist...)
I started on Logic 5 with a PowerBook G4 550Mhz. I now have a MacBook Air M1 and it's ~165x faster! So, why is my music not proportionally better? :(
