So that's S1 support question, not a MuLab question.
As i already told you earlier today the next update will have special compatibility code that handles the change in rack size. I just spent a couple of hours on that. Not fun, but file compatibility indeed is very important, cfr my earlier message today. M9.1.14 will be available soon.If you save the "radical" changes for MuLab10 and not mess too much with ver.9 I cold have both versions installed - v.9 to use with hundreds of presets I already created and v.10 to create new presets with larger racks and nested front panels![]()

So you're "subtly" saying that you don't like the recent tweaks in the UI, right?robert_p wrote: Wed May 31, 2023 3:04 pm ...the "radical" changes for MuLab10 and not mess too much with ver.9...

I know it's not fun, but believe me, it's not fun for me neither to see my front panels broken. Some people say: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". Please, don't be like those "Android Developer Kids" constantly breaking their own applications. What's wrong with the smaller racks? I really like them! Maybe you need to use a larger display (no offence;)mutools wrote: Wed May 31, 2023 3:08 pm As i already told you earlier today the next update will have special compatibility code that handles the change in rack size. P.S. I do like the flat bars on the top (and they didn't change the size;)

They're not broken! They will look exactly the same in the next M9.1.14.
In the edit fields / rack slots the balance between the margin aka padding and the fontsize was not right, imho. I only added 1 pixel extra to both the top and bottom margin. Just a subtle tweak. What's wrong with the smaller racks?
But as a rack has 6 slots it made a bigger diff for a whole rack. And indeed that also caused an issue for the front panels containing a rack. And that's why i spent time making M9.1.14 which will neatly handle that, as you will see soon.
Thx.I do like the flat bars on the top

That's great, I switched back to v.9.0.59 for now, however I did some tests 9.1.12 and I love the "Tab" components for group frames! Keep up the good work!mutools wrote: Wed May 31, 2023 3:26 pm They're not broken! They will look exactly the same in the next M9.1.14.

Something tells me that your next victim will be the "plugin slot" componentmutools wrote: Wed May 31, 2023 3:26 pm In the edit fields / rack slots the balance between the margin aka padding and the fontsize was not right

I doublechecked this case and MUX 8 Basic Synth and MuLab 9 Plugin Basic Synth play the same pitch in FL Studio, also when plugged in at the same time. Everything works as expected.FabBad wrote: Wed May 31, 2023 1:34 pm Hi, i noticed something weird with the plugin version.
Loading mux 8 and mulab 9 with a same preset (created with M8), both on the same DAW.
What i found, is that the plugin M9 is detuned by 1 semitone and some cents lower than the original m8 preset, compared side by side and tested on Reaper and FL Studio.
I don’t know why this happens, is maybe a bug?
The weird thing is that on Mulab 9 app doesn’t reproduce.
Can someone confirm?

I'm so sorry about this. A stupid typo in the code. Will be fixed asap. Pls don't save anything using M9.1.14 especially when it contains front panels with racks.

Bug fix when saving+reloading front panels containing racks.
Any front panels containing racks saved with M9.1.14 must be regarded trash. Apologies for that.
