Is it possible to refresh GUI size of Mulab Plugin without restarting the DAWs . Have tried with Mulab app and Reaper , booth need restart of Daw. Mulab plugins can be big or small, so restarting to fit is not user friendly.

"Plugin Slot" vs "Rack Slot" module. The new "Rack Slot" looks more compact to me and I'm thinking of using it for my front panels design. Are there any significant differences between these two? Any recommendations?

It's a bug. Do not use the rack slot module!
It was part of the new rack strategy dev experiment/prototyping last month but the whole experiment turned to be too complicated for now.
The next M9.1.16 won't show and won't support that rack slot anymore.
Make sure you don't have presets that use this thing.

exemple synth: aliasing (bass) small , analog wooblebass (big) maybe bigger plugin project
some need to be resized depenging size other not. Other probleme in mulab if plugin resize in reaper (plugin 75%) and mulab app resized 100% ( mulab plugin 75% ) resize is relative will be very tiny in mulab nearly unreadble. So if you need to restart DAWs twice all the time to fit in daws with other mulab plugins it is painfull.

Yes there are smaller and bigger front panels. But the "GUI Scale" is not intended to scale an individual instance. The "GUI Scale" preference is also not intended to be used all the time, just a global setting to match your eyes/screen resolution once in a while. And even if the "GUI Scale" preference could be applied without a restart, then it would be applied to all MuLab Plugin instances at the same time as they all share that global preference.Braserox wrote: Thu Jun 01, 2023 3:33 pm @mutools

There also are smaller VST synths and bigger onces, it's the same.
Thanks to the new Tab Frames, MUX front panels can be made more compact but i understand it may not be your ambition to rework existing front panels.
So i'm afraid i don't immediately see a solution for your request except for adding screen space to your setup = bigger and/or extra monitor(s)?

Well done! Hopefully the GUI elements won't change anytime soon - I just updated my side panel and would like to see all the pixels in place tomorrow

There is 1 little tweak i'd like to apply to the front panel racks and it will affect front panel racks saved with M9.1.16 but it's very easy to update such front panel racks. It's about the option to give panel racks a custom color. So please give it another couple of hours until M9.1.17 is there, which then should be final. Sorry about all the recent little UI tweaks. Hope you agree they make sense.
