I downloaded waveform 12 free from the official website but when I try to play any demo or hear any recording, instead I head only hissing. My license for the product is unlocked

So, you have imported a previous recording? Perhaps you could print screen and upload the image.

Possibly your audio device isn't configured correctly?

Constant or intermittent hissing?
If intermittent, either Waveform or one of its pluging (Collective, a RetrMod, etc.) is still in demo mode.
If constant, that's outside of Waveform. I'd check the audio interface and cabling. Try launching Waveform with your external gear turned off to confirm the hissing stops.

Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and even Deezer, whatever the hell Deezer is.

hissing occurs when I play any track. I tested it by playing a project template and by recording myself on a new clean project. Results were the same. I saw on another post that it might be licensing issue but as I said, the licensing setting shows that my waveform free license is unlocked. Audio device is set to my computer's default devices so it shouldn't be a problem.

Is it a *constant* hiss, or does it pop in from time to time?
If the latter, it's within Waveform, and it's likely caused by a Tracktion plugin that came with your free version somewhere in your projects.
Disable your Tracktion-only plugins until it disappears, and that's your culprit.
If it's constant, it's not from within Waveform. Could be your mic, which appears on. It doesn't look like you're using an audio interface, so obviously that won't be the problem.

What happens when you click the 'test' button on the device settings page? Do you hear a clear tone?

Just tried exporting a project, there is no hissing in the music file. When hitting 'test' I hear small artifacts with the tone. The hissing by itself sounds like it tries to sound like it supposed to (for example I faintly hear intonation of my voice) and is constant throughout every track. So is it a problem with with plugins? It's weird then that I still hear hissing on a clean project with only a small recording of my voice. Also how do I disable plugins?
P.S. In other applications this problem never occurs so I don't thinks that it's my mic or headphones

I don't think that's a plugin issue. My best guess is still an audio device issue, especially if the exported audio is fine. Have you tried other device options?
The test button should give a clean tone, without artifacts.

Holy shit it was an audio device issue! I tried my other headphones and they work. Though I have no idea why the others don't... As I said in every other application they work just fine. I had ableton in the past with the same headphones and it worked just fine. Maybe it has to do with the fact that they are usb headphones?

I *think* usb should generally work. But apparently those Kraken 7.1's are surround sound headphones? Maybe that could be causing some weirdness? I have no idea, just guessing.
