It's a great synth too! The polyphonic snapshot eq is a big wow!nusound mind wrote: Mon Nov 20, 2023 8:35 am [obligatory post when on sale bump]
Oof half price atm why they do me like this? A spruced up U-he synth that I didn't until as of late realize was a synth, thought it was an effect. A filter in fact which in my defense seems a logical assumption.
Filterscape Update?

woah this sounds amazing. Seriously good work fellas. All my black friday doom scrolling for deals finally paid off.
-edit- @pdxindy The synth was what i was after, bodes well for Zebra 3 I think. Made it straight into the favorites folder which is no small feat.

Filterscape VA is a satisfying combination of ease of use with the single page design, more depth than is apparent at first and good sound quality. The new filters are lovely sounding.nusound mind wrote: Mon Nov 20, 2023 2:18 pm woah this sounds amazing. Seriously good work fellas. All my black friday doom scrolling for deals finally paid off.

It's become one of my most used synths because it is so easy to tweak sounds as needed with the Snapshot EQ. Once I got used to using it (and realized it was per voice!) I wanted the same thing in every synth!

For sure, I love the layout it's very user friendly to work w/ and nice to look at. There's several old timey analog presets that I've no use for, but I saved close to 40% of the presets which is a great ratio The ones I like I find very impressive. It has a raw, clean sound.
All this w/out really giving the two filter effects a proper spin. Zebra 3 ought to be interesting, although it wouldn't surprise me as I often find producing easier w/ focused instruments so FilterscapeVA might get used more. I love that you can get the filter moving & swinging. The rhythmic aspect was part of the main appeal for me, along w/ the sound quality.

Bought today. Now I have everything U-He - complete
(minus some sound sets)
After some use, have a question regarding LFO frequency in FilterscapeFX:
Isn't it possible to freely tune the frequency? I have only found DAW tempo divisions, but no Rate knob like in FilterscapeVA?

Also bought, I had overlooked this as I have most of the fabfilter stuff, but after demoing it is different enough (and now cheap enough) to have as well. The synth is really nice, hope they add NPE at some point, but it’s a lot of fun with all the snapshot movement as is. great Job!
X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

It does support Bitwig's Note Exressions! But of course this only works in BitwigSLiC wrote: Tue Nov 21, 2023 7:10 am The synth is really nice, hope they add NPE at some point, but it’s a lot of fun with all the snapshot movement as is. great Job!

(we will eventually try to bring Note Expressions to VST3, there's a good chance that the principle is compatible. If it isn't then we have plans to support that, too, but it means a lot of refactoring and therefore a much later date)
