cycling 74 has some JUCE interface thing and already allows porting gen patches to AU and i think VST3 so i think they are ironing out the process or something. have been cryptically promoting a new thing on social media that i think is th eofficial release coming soon.
anyway.. gonna check out PD for VST! missed this thread somehow.

Also , the gui becomes really sluggish when multiple bangs are displayed for step.seq.indicator duties
I changed the hold time in the bang preferences from 250 to 33 but i doesn' treally have any effect on gui performance
Seems that it only hapens in the vst version , here's the stepper , just set metro to 150 and drag some sliders
https://app.box.com/s/h944bri1yj63u9oilpr0qi7m8xyh9qal
Weird , I got rid of the bangs and it's still incribly sluggish

Also encountering bugs when opening different abstractions i a new empty patch window .
Load up a couple of abstractions , and make some changes , insert some outlets etc...
When closing one of the abstraction windows ( not saving when asked to ) , plug data closes all tabs .
This has happened a few times .

Importing a tabread from plugdata into pure data messes up the Y range
Settings in plug data , Y range 40-60
Importing in pure data the Y range is inverted , 60-40

Anyone has any idea why the bottom half of the sine wave is cut off ?
The tabread which acts as a transfer function is within the range -1 ,+1 and has a linear curve .
Edit , ok forgot to offset the sine

After reviewing the video looks like PlugData cannot host VST's.
DRMR, thanks for pointing this out.

Could Reaktor's Razor (or better) be replicated in this thing and fairly easily by a non programmer like myself? How long would it take to learn to do it? We can see Razor's guts in edit mode and so I was thinking maybe I could somehow swap its guts over to PlugData's area. What do you think? Also, what about PlugData patch/instrument/ensemble GUI's? How easy or feasible are they, like for an end-user case scenario?

I believe that all these modular environment plugins can host VST's.

Loomer Architect https://www.loomer.co.uk/architect.htm
BespokeSynth https://www.bespokesynth.com/ Likely stand alone and not VST
Mulab plugin with Mux,
FL Studio with Patcher

Metaplugin https://ddmf.eu/metaplugin-chainer-vst- ... x-wrapper/
These allows one the freedom to make all types of simple or complex routing of the native and VST plugins.

Big factor for me, as to why I prefer it to other options.
