by any chance. does Driven By Moss work with the Novation Launchpad Mini MK2?
I dont mean that everything should work [like fader stuff etc], just the launch part more so than anything
thanks

Sorry, no. Sadly all the Launchpads are somehow (completely) different...lorenlepton wrote: Wed Dec 06, 2023 5:42 pm by any chance. does Driven By Moss work with the Novation Launchpad Mini MK2?

that is a damn shame. seen a few of them on eBay going really cheap & figured it would be a good investment.moss wrote: Wed Dec 06, 2023 6:55 pm Sorry, no. Sadly all the Launchpads are somehow (completely) different...
thanks for getting back so quickly. also means I dont need to waste money

I put them all on one page the way I want, and I had a look through the lua code. It looks like the Control ref # change with the page in the code. What internal IDs are you referring to?moss wrote: Tue Nov 28, 2023 8:30 amIt's tricky! It should be possible to rearrange them on one page but you also need to make sure that the internal IDs are kept intact.erickey wrote: Tue Nov 28, 2023 2:53 am I just bought an Electra One and it's on the way. I'm def going to use DrivenByMoss. I've currently got it setup on my Akai APC40Mkii, which I'm retiring for the Electra.
How difficult would it be to "customize" a page in DrivenByMoss with different parts from other pages on the Electra?
For example, I'd like to have "home page" that has Volume and Pan at the top, with Select/Mute/and or Solo under them, then for the bottom part of the page, have the device remotes. And possibly the BPM on one of the right side encoders.
Thanks
Thanks

Yes, it is the ref# I was referring to. I count them upwards from the first page.erickey wrote: Fri Dec 08, 2023 4:10 amI put them all on one page the way I want, and I had a look through the lua code. Hey, I have a question. I updated my Mac to Sonoma and Bitwig to 5.1, and I applied your script. Bitwig doesn't recognize Ableton Push 1. Is it due to the Mac update?

Hi Moss,
Quick and simple question. Is there a way to change the general sensitivity/velocity of the pads on a Launchpad X like in for example the Push or like in the official script from Bitwig for the Launchpad ?

You can set 3 velocity curves. See the Launchpad X manual (Velocity Settings).Paterfiets wrote: Tue Dec 12, 2023 12:29 am Hi Moss,

Actually, I’m not sure what I did wrong, I get a Bitwig error dialog saying “Electra. One preset not installed” when I put my “custom” preset. I guess I broke it. Works fine again when I put the original Moss preset back in.moss wrote: Sun Dec 10, 2023 3:12 pmYes, it is the ref# I was referring to. I suppose it’s over my head then. I’ll formally put in a request for a simplified page with current device parameters and volume/pan/mute/solo.
Thanks

Hello,
I am an enthusiastic user of your Bitwig Studio Extensions. I would like to thank you for your great commitment to making as many controllers as possible available in Bitwig! I admire the amount of work you have done, your technical know-how and the unselfishness of sharing your achievements with others.
I personally use the NI Maschine MK2, MK3, JAM and the Komplete Kontrol S88 MK2 to control Bitwig. Your controller scripts are great! The level of integration is enormous and can hardly be compared with other solutions in this area.
In this context, I would like to ask a few questions or make suggestions for further optimization of NI controller integration:
Kontrol S88 MK2
1. When I use the large encoder to select clips in the launcher, I cannot start them by pressing down the encoder. The selection of the clip works but the playback does not. Is this perhaps a bug?
2. Is it technically possible to send the color coding of tracks/groups to the keyboard so that the colors of the faders and tracks in the mixer and the light guide of the keyboard correspond to the colors set in Bitwig?
Maschine MK3
1. Is it possible to change the input via the SHIFT key combined with pads (such as Undo, Redo, Semi up/down, etc.) so that the SHIFT key has to be held down and not just pressed once? At the moment, I can access the secondary pad functions by pressing the SHIFT key once, which means that some commands (e.g. frequent undo in succession) cannot be entered reliably because the Shift key has to be pressed each time beforehand.
2. Is it possible to use the LED strip of the touch strip as an indicator for the playback position of the selected clip/scene? I.e. the LED strip shows where the clip/scene is currently playing and when the clip/scene will end. In principle, exactly the same way it works within the Maschine software. It would be a big gain for working with the controller if it would be possible to get a feedback regarding the current play position. Perhaps the NOTES button, which is now assigned to the Note Repeat settings, would be useful here.
Maschine MK2
1. Is there a reason why the upper arrow buttons next to the displays have no function? These would actually be great for switching through parameter pages or presets in the browser.
2. Is it possible to open the plugin window in Bitwig via the controller?
I thank you very much for your time and effort if you should look at my questions/suggestions and hope that Bitwig will continue to motivate you to write great controller scripts in the future.
Musical greetings

Hello, i have the S49 MK2, with Bitwig 5.1 and DrivenByMoss-21.5.1, and can't confirm the big button press not launching clips. It works fine for me.betaveld wrote: Tue Dec 12, 2023 12:49 pm Hello,

However, i want to report a bug, which happened since i updated from DrivenByMoss-21.3.0 to DrivenByMoss-21.5.1 (i did not test versions in between). It happens both with Bitwig 5.0.11 and Bitwig 5.1.
- When using the 4-directional-navigation-knob of the KK S49 MK2, trying to move the selection in Bitwigs Cliplauncher from Clip to Clip only works properly when moving from Track to Track. Moving from Scene to Scene makes the Selection jump to the Scene, instead of jumping to the next Clip, as expected!
Thanks for looking into this
I built a Looper for Bitwig!

It is looking for the template name, so you must not change it.erickey wrote: Tue Dec 12, 2023 11:12 amActually, I’m not sure what I did wrong, I get a Bitwig error dialog saying “Electra. One preset not installed” when I put my “custom” preset.
