Definitely, especially now days. Endless updateschk071 wrote: Thu Dec 28, 2023 11:53 pm You know, I'm happy to still have a 1080p monitor. No issue with any plugin, resizable or not.
Consistency and conservativity is a great thing in regards of computing.
Soundtoys Plugins still not resizable?!?! "there are no plans currently to implement resizable GUIs for our plug-ins"

That must be the most shitty post I have read on here in a looong time. I bet you are a lot of fun to be around in real life. People really like you, huh?chk071 wrote: Thu Dec 28, 2023 11:58 pmOh boy. Maybe not abandonware, but I can’t imagine anyone buying anything from them. I got my money’s worth out of these plugins, so I’m not really that disappointed about it, but I feel like it can’t be going well there. I can’t imagine these ancient plugins are generating any sort of income for someone.

Businesses are businesses, for christs sake, no charities or political institutions. And, no, it doesn't matter if they (think) they save the world with what they do. I want to spend my money on a product when I buy from them. I spend my money on charities when I want to do that.
Good thing I only ever spent $29 on one of their plugins or something. Now that I know that they spend some of their revenues on charities of god knows which kind, I surely will consider twice before spending any more money on their stuff.
It's THEIR f**king money and they can do with it whatever they like. You are not spending money on charities. They do. You are spending money on whatever product you are buying from them. What they do with their money is none of your f**king business.
But if I was a vendor, I would do my damnedest to not sell a single f**king thing to you. Actually you don*t deserve the crappiest little freeware plugin.
You are a complete disgrace. And not just because of this post. About 99% of your posts is offensively dumb crap where you try to stir the pot with wannabe-clever posts such as this one where a person of at least average intelligence certainly can't help thinking "Wait - What? Is he really that stupid?"

I contacted Support to ask for resizable GUIs, as I'd like to actually be able to use my Soundtoys.
Not holding my breath, but Soundtoys won't care until they realize they are missing out on sales.

I was thinking about getting PrimalTap while it’s on sale because I’d like a Lexicon Prime Time model. However I’ve seen some comparison videos between them, and it seems like it’s not really as close as it could be.
Also, I already own PSP Lexicon 42.
What do you guys think?
Any PrimalTap opinions?

Don’t agree with the pile on.
I think I disagree with everything he’s ever written and broadly support the same goals as ST, but it does cut both ways.
If companies take a public stance I’m against, I’ll think twice about using them. For me, that’s human nature.

First of all: how could one be "against" charity?
"Heck, this charity helps people in Bangladesh who lost everything in the recent earthquake, but there's far too many of these islamistic Indians already anyway - what a shitty charity!"
Second of all they made clear that they don't give a damn at all about what these charities are as they are generally against charities " I don't know of".
Companies taking responsibility and helping the world, huh? What a bloody thing!

And you're a naive idiot if you think that every and each of such charities only has the best interests in mind, and that you always know exactly where your money goes.Kypresso wrote: Fri Dec 29, 2023 7:55 amYeh, its f**king terrible when anyone shows any care or compassion for others.chk071 wrote: Thu Dec 28, 2023 11:58 pmOh boy. No wonder that you get bombed with ads from charities everywhere these days. That alone should make you perk up your ears. But, noooo.

How would someone like you ever be able to judge? That's like asking a blind person for their favourite colour.
