Nope. Generally speaking, it means "very very very old", "ancient", as it refers to the word "Antiquité", our word for the Ancient Greece/Roman times. Litterally it simply means that an object/fact/thing dates back from this era : it’s ancient exactly as Roman Times. Applies to a statue, a painting, a legend, etc...
