Pretty Please?Urs wrote: Sun Jan 21, 2024 5:21 pmI can't say for sure. Mojave has major issues with some graphics stuff, and whether or not any of our new UI stuff runs smoothly on it remains to be seen.
I do think it'll run though, it's the first macOS that had Metal I think?

And roundtripping SVG should be great fun. Lots of power in that format, that many people don’t suspect.
Hope we will get the public beta “two weeks after NAMM” instead of waiting until Urs comes back from vacations.
Especially since beta testing is an opportunity to tweak things and prepare patches.
Exciting stuff!

Wonder if we could get those SVG curves as .bwcurves files! Sounds to me like a lot of the 5.x curves came from discussions with Urs. And, with the CLAP format’s support for per-note automation, there’s something really powerful in terms of shaping things with what was just demoed!C-quence wrote: Fri Jan 26, 2024 11:46 am Hopefully you will do more things together with the Bitwig team in future!

Interesting the additive renderer with the chaos patterns. I can imagine some pretty wild metallic percussive sounds out of that.
Stuck in Aperture Laboratories for a 2nd time!

Mind blowing indeed. You just raised the bar for synthesis. Congratulations Urs!

Awesome, oder anders gesagt, einfach geil!! Can't wait to try this.
Urs: For Zebra 3, what if there also was a view where you have two oscillators side by side, one above, one below? Then you also could add some synchonous editing stuff, e.g. make one highpass, the other lowpass accordingly. Even if only a reticle would follow the mouse position, but the lines would also appear on the other osc's editor. Or a modifier key would either lock x- or y-axis movement of the reticle. Or you could edit both editors at once, one increasing, the other one decreasing.
I think it simply would be very helpful to see two osc editors at once, in a expanded editor view.

At 23:08 you see "Ocenaudio has found 23 new VST plugins ...". So I'll guess https://www.ocenaudio.com .

zebralette 3 sounds amazing. the oscillator and osc FX are incredible. such a play ground. Z3 in full will be massive and amazing.

Video was very cool! Crazy to think all of those sounds came out of a single oscillator. Zebralette and Z3 are going to be total powerhouse synths.
One suggestion for a small enhancement: I think a small OSC FX browser with a description of what each OSC FX does would be great for keeping one's nose out of the manual. I'm imagining a small pop up window (vs a menu) and highlighting an OSCFX on the left, would update the description text on the right. Just something to consider perhaps in the future.

Lots of them... the sound quality and character is gorgeous. Plus you have fine control over the sound and how it decays without that control being time consuming!paradiddle wrote: Fri Jan 26, 2024 12:01 pm I can imagine some pretty wild metallic percussive sounds out of that.
