Here's one using the Wavetable Renderer:

Thanks... The Z3 Osc is easy to get pleasing sounds from. By default it sounds excellent. It's also straightforward to control the subtle tonality. Both with the Waveform Curves and the OscFX.

I'm finding it satisfying working with the vector based wavetable editor. The usual wavetable editors are powerful, but I can't say I find them fun as (imo) they are too tedious and hit or miss. But working with the curves in the Z3 Osc is fast and direct and the capability is beyond what other wavetable editors can do in any practical sense. There is a lot of precision without it being tedious or overly meticulous.

It's also great to have the curve editor overlaying the audio scope. It's super helpful for learning about what is going on, including with the OscFX.

That’s really amazing for just one oscillator!

I imagine you have a strong sense of what bugs you want to squish before beta release, and there is the whole 'first impressions count' stuff to factor in, but I would rather have my hands on a version with some obvious bugs in February than have to wait for something more polished in late March or April. So please consider compromising.

Sorry for this desperate attempt of mine to increase the chances of it happening in Feb, hopefully you can take it as a compliment and blame it on the excitement you have generated with the features and sound quality of this new synth!

I am also very excited about Osmose-tailored presets for some of your synths, but I wasnt at NAMM to see it for myself. And I am content to be patient about this and wait till later in the year when hopefully we get some of that stuff in our hands in conjunction with the non-beta release of MPE versions of plugins?

Thanks for letting us know that some of that was on show.

I'd be saying the same thing were I in your position...

Hopefully Urs gets enough issues addressed in time and there's a public beta. :tu:
