IIRC, 4front bass doesn't support pitchbend. That's a huge limitation I'd say...jtxx000 wrote:well if you get it will you do a comparison of the two? i don't have 4front bass but i have their piano and it sounds pretty good.
Please suggest best Bass plugin or tool for Tracktion

Yeah. It's hard to get those riffs just right without being able to pitch bend.
I tried the 4Front bass, and I was just... un-inspired. Personally, I'm starting to like some of the classic FM synth sounds again. I'm going to have to find a good FM synth; I have a DXi synth, but that doesn't work with T, even with the FF4 rack (FF4 only supports audio, not MIDI)

I don't see that from the post.Trilogy costs $350. He was looking for something cheap or free, I believe.
If money is not a barrier Trilogy is the one for sure.

Check out Vol 6. It's all sorts of multi-sampled basses.
They load in your sampler. They don't come with a player.
I don't have them but I am looking for a decent bass library as well and the demo sounds good.
Only 40 euros!

Try looking for a dealer near you. Most of the time they have Demo versions loaded on their comps. It would probably be hard for them to put a demo together that trully captured how good it is. Most of the Bassguitar patches are over 100megs each with 32bits on. And then theres the acoustics and synth basses (which I use as leads most of the time
). Its a lot of stuff.

I do rock and I'm a guitarist. I use Guitar Port for Evanescence type sounds and this is an awesome bass sound as a SoundFont for abut $20 or so that you can use rgcaudio's sfz (free) to play with. Listen to the demo mp3.
I tried about 20 different things but after hearing this demo, this is it. If you have no MIDI controller to map the sampler to, wait for T2, it has MIDI step editing.

HI
I have the ultimate soundbank bass sample CD and there are some very nice basses (Fender Jazz/ Acoustics) on there and it's pretty cheap - well recommended, by me that is!
Flipper.
