Replicant 3 by Audio Damage is out

Has anyone actually tried it or are y’all just complaining about AD?

Anyway, apparently it’s no longer possible to randomize the size parameter and let it jump between different time signatures, i.e. 1/4T, 1/8, 1/4D and so on, it stays confined to the selected base signature (Normal, Dotted etc). Do I have this right, can anyone confirm?

I haven't checked out v3. I'd be sad if this was the case. I have (with v2 started randomizing with the bitwig modulation so I can have the "repeats" going lower when the size goes higher). But having a "all time divisions" setting when randomizing is crucial when "random" is the objective.

I've had more issues with newer AD plugins than I ever had with their old stuff. I think it's a graphics problem myself, but what do I know.

Yeah it seems you need DAW automation/modulation to jump between divisions.

That's a bummer. I've noticed that many companies have started doing hz/ms, straight, triplet, and dotted but only one option at a time for many time based parameters. I'd think that making them "inclusive" meaning all four could be selected and you could set to any setting, or you could select straight and dotted and have the values snap to those etc. Would be better all around and not super hard to implement (from the ground up, everything is hard to implement after something else has been previously implemented). Oh well.

On the plus side, I've been getting tons of use out of all the AD stuff that I've owned for ages and all the stuff that they discontinued and released for free so I don't sweat any problems I've got moving forward very much.
