Thanks! I did end up getting hold of it. Only given it a bit of a test, so far, but seems ideal. Not too interested in it specifically for guitar. Mostly want to use it as a channel-strip that has added bonus FX. Hard to go wrong, really

Yes Mixbox works well as a channel strip and general enhancer.
Try the Tone Control to warm up / saturate tracks.
Oh and I love having individual wet dry controls, though they cannot be automated, feel free to complain here like I did :

The only other thing it really needs is Midi Learn.
Apart from that such a cool FX Box.
