Hi All,

how are folks doing release samples/noises?...the event generators/processors?...what about keyswitches or assigning samples to mod wheel or aftertouch?...can the event generators/processors be mapped to individual multisampler zones, or would you have to use multiple instances of multisampler to get expressive controller performance triggering/switching of samples?

Thanks

Use a Note On Upon Note Off module and route its output to a separate MUX / PolySynth / plugin.

Not yet in MuLab 9.5.

Yes.

Can you turn off returning play-head to sample start upon note on/note off?....so you for example could play an uninterrupted vocal phrase as a melody/chords

You mean each note on would trigger the next slice but the slice in a sliced audio multi-sample would... just stop playing once its slice ended, not loop? Or what? By default, importing as a sliced multi-sample wouldn't loop (I think) - but you do get a different note number for each slice. (The loop mode for each slice can be set independently in the multisampler.)

simply not sending the play head back to sample start on note off, so you can play a melody or chords through a vocal phrase for example without changing the temporal order of the audio in the phrase sample
