Unfortunately Push 1 remains regressed with 24.2

Pressing a note (or playing a note clip) ..blanks the screen....system wide.

Not sure what you mean. Are we talking about the chord preview? There will be an option for that as I wrote above. I cannot see anything getting blanked in session mode.

Yes I start in note mode...100% operate in note mode. I need to access notes at all times.

So as I navigate through, Devices, Tracks..etc notes are always playable....and when clips are played from the daw, the notes are reflected on the pads.

But now, when I play notes or launch a clip (from bitwig)... anything that is in state on the screen is blanked out and only note info is shown.

Hi i noticed for the akai fire if I press the shift button which flips between note mode and the arp page that turning controls assigned to user 1 will move slowly in note mode and fast in the arp selection page strange. Its sporadic also. If I press the step mode on and off and back to the note mode, then the knobs might move fast again. but pressing shift from note mode to the arp settings page always messing up note mode and the knobs move slowly again. Version 24.1. clearly the controls do not move freely on the note mode.

Another issue im having is that pressing shift alt and the select knob to change the device page, ends up switching to the arp control page every time and I have to press shift again to get back to the note page.

Yeah, it is a bit tricky since I had to make the Shift mode permanent:
- Keeping Shift pressed also triggers the slow (fine) change of the knobs
- If using Shift+Alt make sure to press the Alt button first

Hi what I am saying too is if I just press shift one time it switched to the knobs moving slowly on the note page. Pressing shift goes between the arp setup and note page. ON the arp page moving the knobs moves fast, on the note page it moves slow. Of course this engages when I try holding alt and shift together which is necessary to change device pages. But trying to do that causes knobs to move slow even though Im not holding shift anymore.

once it happens I cant get it out of slow knob movement. maybe only if I start pressing the bottom buttons to change modes or try to press alt shift again sometimes. I was trying it over and over just now and couldnt get the knobs to move fast again.

Maybe lets reexamine. Do we need to use shift and alt together with the select knob to change device pages? What does alt plus select knob do currently? the shift button currently isnt playing nice with changing device pages.

Oh, I see. It will be less intrusive in the next update and you can switch it off.

I could fix the issue with the slow mode getting stuck. I also changed that the Shift mode gets not activated when ALT is already pressed.

ALT+Select changes the selected device.

Sorry, I cannot reproduce this. Works fine for with both Push and SL.
Did you check if there is an exception in the Script console?

No, I didn't. I installed 23.2.0 and all worked immediately again.

Depends on your requirements. The Push is nicer for playing since the pads on the Fire are not really intended for that.

i have the same problem as someone descriped above. Since 5.2 update and bitwg extension its not working anymore. i have 3 controller in a setup. maschine mk3, apc40mk2, keystep. everything starts up correctly. but if i hit a key on the keystep, the machine show the key from the keystep in the display. its just like everything is messed up in connection with the controllers. if i hit a key on one device another is triggered. i think something was going wrong since the upates. Because if i donwgrade to 23.2 everything is working fine again and no conflicts.. thnx for the great work. hopefully working soon again

You can disable this feature with the latest release (see above).

Hello, my problem is with the lunchpadX.
All of the notes I produce on the device are quiet in comparison with the sound produced with the MIDI keyboard or any other device, and I can't understand how to switch off an arpeggiator mode; I want to produce single shots instead of repetitive notes, also, if I activate option ‘Turn off empty drum pads‘ the active section of the drums is switching off, but inactive still light.
