I have some synthmaster 3 betas laying around on my filesystem somewhere, even though I have installed the release. Problem is, every time Ableton scans my plugins I get a popup that halts the scan and says something like "The Synthmaster 3 beta has expired! Please download a newer version from our website..."
And I have to click OK for the scan to move past this. But I get this popup twice per scan (maybe for VST2 and VST3, or different versions of the beta, or SOMETHING), But unforutnately the popup does doesn't say where on my disk the source of the popup originates (which would be very helpful!). Looking at files on my disk, it's not obvious which one(s) should be deleted. I thought installing the release would uninstall the betas? Is there a beta un-installer?
Anyway, thanks for any help.

Hi Chris,
I believe I was having the same problem. I tried installing SM3 over beta, got an error during installation as you described. When opening plugin I got the beta ended-reinstall message. I eventually uninstalled ALL 3 Synthmaster versions (1, 2, 3) and downloaded-reinstalled them. This time I did not get the error message during SM3 install, so I'm assuming it's gonna open this time. If I don't reply again, you'll know it worked for me...
Cheers,
Darrin

KVR Studio Manager (beta) should find any duplicate plugins: https://www.kvraudio.com/kvr-studio-manager
