It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

Will there be a detune or pitch shifting in MFM2.5?

MFM2.5's granular effect allows you, in .10 steps, to tune up or down an octave. I'm fascinated by MFM2.5 because it's so old. What I mean is, it's Heckmann's first fx which goes back 20 or 30 years. Obviously, it was never abandoned. Didn't care for the old spaceship llok, though. But that's U-he for ya. They also upgraded Triple Cheese so at least they're conscious about design.
If you can't dazzle 'em with brilliance, baffle 'em with bullshit.

as far as I remember, it was in 2002 that urs heckmann presents "more feedback machine" here at K-v-R

they were 6 developper's forums at these dates...see how it has changed since !

Hi there, did I missed something or does the updated plugin effect doesn't have a dry/wet knob on each of the two FX slots?

Improvising straight into 2 instances of u-he MFM2.5, tweaking various parameters on the fly. The instance on the left in the video uses side-band modulation, the right instance is a long reverb.

It's a rather difficult task to get that Cubase bypass button working in our VST3 plugins due to their modularity (i.e. how they are built code-wise).

For the time being, if you need it, please use the VST2 version.
Have recently switched to Cubase 14 [ OSX ARM ] and have noticed this is [ still ] a thing with MFM2.5 but also with the latest Filterscapes and Zebrify.

With VST2 no longer being an option is this likely to see a fix?

[ Seems to be okay with the VST3s of ColorCopy and Satin? ]

Cheers,

Alan

At some point, but not in the short term.
It would most likely involve a lot (months and months) of code refactoring for each of these plugins.
It's not something we can just do quickly in parallel to our current tasks, that's why there is no ETA for this.
That QA guy from planet u-he.

Ah, okay. Appreciate the situation and thanks for the reply.
