I wonder if any DAW in the past five+ years has had a release where the majority of users were not EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED

The algorithm is the same on all clips (because is track based). In cubase you can use a different one for each clip even if it is one the same track.

Doesnt seem like a big deal, but wehn you have a huge arrangement it is.

I agree. The whole v12 cycle so far is excellent

I'll be curious about "Advanced tempo detection". If it can automatically map a non-grid performance, that would be super useful for me.
If every KVR member wrote one review a year we'd have 1340 reviews each day!

I just watched the video and that's exactly what it is.

Slow down, folks. My KVR comments 'New Release Bingo' card is nearly full, and we are just getting started. At least stretch it out over another 26 pages (which will totally happen).

I can confirm. 0 percent chance a DAW released in 2024 would satisfy its users. According to these forums Cubase, Studio One, Ableton, Reason, Fl studio, Bitwig, PT, Waveform, Samplitude and Logic are all currently terrible pieces of software and the developers just hate their respective user base. They are of course, all going out of business and never introduce features anybody wants. Modern DAW users are insane.
Windows 10 PC. Reason. Cubase. Waveform. Reaper. Studio One Pro. Epiphone Les Paul Pro II. Nektar Panorama t4. Yamaha RBX Bass. Faderport 2. Eris E5 Monitors. SSL2 Interface. Audient Evo 4. AKG C214. Aston Origin. MXL 990.

Lol. People just love to complain. 2024 is probably the best time to live in for music production. If you can't get it done with the current tools on the market then nothing can help you..sorry.

The launcher doesn’t look as bad as I was anticipating. I like how it has a supporting role to the arranger, instead of superseding it. Can it work in conjunction with scratchpads? Like, you create a new section in isolation in a scratchpad, then bring it into the Launcher to work it into the arrangement, then bring the arrangement into the main arranger to have a song?

Now I am just hoping there is a preference to disable rounded corners on part containers. The rounded corners makes it look very unserious, like ‘90s shareware.
THIS MUSIC HAS BEEN MIXED TO BE PLAYED LOUD SO TURN IT UP

I would like to humbly point out that the vast majority of users likely don't visit these forums. Those that do, tend to, well... Complain a lot. Not that some complaints aren't valid. Just saying. The Internet tends to magnify everything. A lot.

Meh, apparently there‘s still no change to that horrible audio engine. No, thanks.

I like this ghosted pattern replaceability feature, no other DAW can do this

this whole launcher definitely feels like it was designed because marketers wanted it, but it's actually good
