These skins look really nice - decent, subtle quality-of-live improvements without changing the overall character or overdoing it. Well done!

Hey guys. Not great news... I just compared my Repro 5 script with the new factory one and it shows 688 changes. I don't even know where to begin. I don't have the time now to try and figure this out. I sure would be happy for someone else to take stab at it!

However, I don't believe that it makes sense to compare the new Repro-5_orig.txt with your script. You should rather compare the new 1.1.3 factory script to the 1.1.2 factory script to see the changes, which should then be tansferred to your script.
The most important thing would be to have the additional mod slots in the skin. The dynamic FX section is nice to have, but not required and to configure MPE it would be ok for me to switch briefly to the factory skin.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about the number of changes, as A_K_F said, it's more about "what changed and copying things over".abernathy wrote: Fri Oct 18, 2024 3:09 pm Hey guys. Not great news... That said, if you can create the background .png with the two Mod Slot options and send it to me, I can try to retrofit the rest of the skin from the script perspective (please also try to account for the Key Control and MPE buttons). I recently did this with my Hive skins. Took like an hour on the first one then like 20 minutes to do the second once I figured out a good workflow*.
Feel free to PM me.
*I'm probably exaggerating downwards a bit. The first one was a bit painful and probably took close to 2 hours but that was because I made the mistake of starting with the new GUI, and retrofitting my changes into it. That was a mistake. The better approach, what I did with the second skin, was to take the script for the old custom skin, and modify it to include the new features. This allowed me to be more selective and not throw the baby out with the bathwater.

When I compare the 1.1.2 and 1.1.3 factory scripts there are 569 changes...! And if I transferred all the changes it would screw up colors, etc in my script. Seems very complicated unfortunately. But, yes, let me look at fixing the BG5-Synth.pngFunkybot's Evil Twin wrote: Fri Oct 18, 2024 5:24 pmYeah, I wouldn't worry about the number of changes, as A_K_F said, it's more about "what changed and copying things over".abernathy wrote: Fri Oct 18, 2024 3:09 pm Hey guys. I'll be happy to take a look at it. At least for the slim wood-panel variant on RePro-5 (that's the one I use) and RePro-1.

I've got great news: I've been able to get RePro-5 "Slim" skin updated and working. Took probably 2 hours off and on to update the script and add back the extra Velvet parameters. Shoot me a PM with your email and I'll send you a zip.abernathy wrote: Fri Oct 18, 2024 5:47 pm When I compare the 1.1.2 and 1.1.3 factory scripts there are 569 changes...! You'll just need to update a few background .png's.
I think what it will need from a graphics update perspective is this:
1. Move the MIDI indicator LED background position in the Main_BG to the same location as in the new skin
2. Add the gear icon for the MPE button the new skin has
3. Create a new "MM A/MM B" set of png's [look for MMSynth_00.png/MMSynth_01.png]
4. Update the BG5-Tweak.png (they added a kind of overlay thing for the MMA / MMB thing to work in the Tweaks pane)
5. Maybe adjust the color of BG5-Effects.png (the old version had the effects background baked in so if you updated anything in this png originally, you'll need to redo that with a big empty space where the FX pedal backgrounds were)
6. Optional: maybe use the new style trimmer knobs but adjust the colors to match your GUI

More great news: Thanks to Funkybot's help we have a new Slim version. I'm letting him test it for a bit and then I'll post it. What other version(s) do you guys really want... for when I get the time?

Working great here.
I'd suggest maybe doing RePro-1 to match. I can help add the KeyViz to that. If you see my post on the Wombat thread, the basic instructions to add it to a skin are there.

Fantastic! The Vintage Slim version is also the one that I'm using. Would be happy with that one.abernathy wrote: Sat Oct 19, 2024 7:31 pm More great news: Thanks to Funkybot's help we have a new Slim version. I'm letting him test it for a bit and then I'll post it.
