sometimes, i will select a preset, then the next several presets play the sound of the first-selected one...??? odd, but everything else is working (logic 11, sequoia...)

I have the same HUGE issue - not a single preset will load at all. Whether left click, double click or right click->Load to layer. I mean what is going on - how is this core function out in the wild like this?

I was (before it was uninstalled) using your very latest build (3.0.4) from a just few days ago.

Loaded SynthMaster One, Synthmaster 2 and Synthmaster 3 presets. Works as expected, presets load. So, could you possibly send us a video demonstrating the issue?

Is it as simple as just left clicking on a preset - and it should load? Or is there something I am missing because I spent about 20 minutes on this and while I suppose it could be pilot error - I do not think I was doing anything out of the ordinary. Been using plugins for 25 years now.

Also - can you comment on why the 3.0.4 installer does not place the standalone version? I could not find it anywhere. Do we need to install as Admin or some other oddball requirements?

For the record - I am using Windows 10 22H2, Studio One v6.6.4/7.0.0 and VST3 only.

Left click loads the preset.

Can you also try deleting:

My documents/SynthMaster3/Config/SynthMaster3Config.txt
My documents/SynthMaster3/SynthMasterPresets.xml

Maybe something was wrong with the config file.

Left click loads the preset.

Not for me it doesn't.

And I want to be very clear - the SMv3 UI "looks" like it's loading the preset when I left click on it. The Preset area text changes - everything seems to indicate I am set to roll with the preset I selected but when I hit my keyboard - your drum laden default preset is still banging away.

As I noted in my other thread - even when I load INIT and clear everything - the same issue occurs. SM3 "looks" good - preset loaded - but playing the keyboard is nothing but the standard INIT sound - over and over - regardless of preset.

I will reload this and try again - and try this config tweaks

Noted - however it would nice to get this behaving like it was in v2.9.

I would prefer to do everything above in standalone and make sure it is working before using it in Studio One. Especially the expansion updates - which are painful.

Downloading expansions is straightforward: Click on the preset name on the top header, and then click on the "Restore my preset banks" menu. That's it!

scrolling thru presets; sometimes one preset sounds while selecting the next several.

will check this out more carefully this week (and will do a reboot first), and i'll report back. maybe just a glitch moment

If you are scrolling fast, and the presets are loading resources that take time to load (wavetables or samples), this could happen. this is normal behaviour.

Was using the vector oscillator and dropped a wavetable from my collection into one of the slots. Visually, the waveform changed but sonically, it was still just a sine wave. Not sure what's happening there.

Basic additive and vector osc use single cycle waveforms, not wavetables

Also, I use the Serum wavetable "Tables" folder as my main location for wavetables and point all other synths to that folder. Is there a way to do this for SM3? I've tried just copying the Tables folder into the SM3 user folder in Documents (windows) but SM3 is seeing the tables as samples not wavetables, so they don't have an index control or if they're single cycles, they're not looping. Pretty sure I'm doing something wrong...

Drag n drop a single wav file from that folder to the wavetable osc display, that folder will be added to the wavetables search path. So, you dont have to copy anything

One thing re: the vector oscillator. I was actually trying to load single cycle waveforms, not a scannable wavetable. The single cycle was in wav format. Can these be loaded into the vector?

Yes you can. But I discovered 2 issues. will release a hotfix for that tonight. Please wait for my announcement
