UAD still worth it?

How can you be that heartless and throw people to the wolfs? Is it just ignorance? Or is it just as some of you seem to agree, basically do not give a damn?

Oh, you got it all wrong. I mentioned earlier that I have taken this matter up with UAD in their forum “ I am not here to discuss pricing or policies” was the response. Actions speak louder than words. It’s a fact. Do yourself a favor and stick to the subject.

Uncle E, I am engaging in this matter and I knew that I was going to have to deal with lots of people who do not care. I am engaging for those who have tried to engage in this matter before and have not being heard instead they meet like thinking people like many here. This is not the first time this happens, but this is the first time I engage in this and any forum for that matter. I am well prepared in this matter, took my time to study what was gonna be the response before hand, being 10 steps ahead. If I get banned for speaking up, so be it. What kind of man would I be if I just shut my mouth like everybody else who seek to shut my mouth here. It’s a responsibility I’m willing to take.

I like your hypothesis, wouldn’t it make more sense to just sell you the plug-in according to what you already own in this bundle? Would I feel better if the bundle had fewer plugins for $49? It doesn’t make sense to me as I won’t use them, would probably more sense for an educators, not for me and not for anybody else in most cases. It’s equal to having less plugins in the bundle, I can’t sell it I won’t use it. Non existing. Your point being what exactly?

I think you misunderstood him there. He gave his opinion in regards to you getting banned for calling people all kinds of stuff just because they happen to disagree with you*.


*just stating the facts here. I have no horse of my own running along... I rarely argue with people who clearly have issues (only perhaps if it's a lot of fun and I don't manage to discipline myself (It's a bit like chocolate), something that certainly doesn't apply here).

I know, I have encountered people tying their accomplishments/achievements to their software and hardware going for my head for criticizing their business strategies and their lack of caring for consumer experience, many of these users have compromised and still compromise consumer experience because of their “great emulation software” along with this they do not seem to understand that they are just in competition with other software companies and live a fantasy that the choice of “opening up” their business it’s because of care of the customers. When actions tell another story. I dare to say that there is no other company who’s most users have double licenses of the same software which are not being used which tell the tail of people compromising and not the other way around. Has been and still is today the same business as before just a couple of changes due to technological advances which has been made due to their lack of leverage on customers today. For the price of DSP (Apollo hardware) as an example add that to the price of a new computer set up and you will be able to open up any plugin from any software company. The use of DSP ( hardware/apollo ) is going obsolete, which was their main leverage.

I don't feel like paying for the same plugins again...
