I am using the latest build Bulent just mentioned about.
My DAW is Cakewalk and am using Windows 10.
Did you try loading them into layers? Right Click on Patch Name and select "Load on Layer"? That was causing some crashes here.
Yes I loaded 6 of your presets into layers. I used “load to new layer” for each to make sure nothing was overwritten or interfered with each other somehow.

Yes, it works well, but it also works very differently and can do very different things that waveshaping using time domain can accomplish (by way of using wave table manipulation, "wave table" with the original definition, that is - but that's just my guess about what's happening under the covers).

Frequency domain waveshaping allows manipulation of individual harmonics. E.g., odd harmonics get louder, and even softer. But most waveshaping ala SM3 could not be done at all in frequency domain. The Bend algorithms would probably not be possible in frequency domain, nor would the sync algorithm. There is at least one type of SM3 algorithm, however, that would be easy in the frequency domain: the filter algorithms.

I wonder if that could be added in a future update at some point?

2. Voice modifiers for Basic Oscilllators: Basic oscillators are the most widely used oscillators, so I added voice modifiers to volume, pan, detune, phase and tone parameters. I am going to be spending the next 2 weeks creating some Oberheim type poly analog presets to demonstrate how voice modifiers can be used to create analog sounds 🙂
Very keen to try this out. I updated to 3.0.9 version 15817 through the Synthmaster update feature. I don't see the vintage knob you show in your screenshot for the basic osc.

I found the "Edit Voice Modifiers" page right after I posted, inevitably, by right-clicking the knob and selecting "Edit voice modifiers", but the little window you show never pops up.

Sorry if I'm missing something obvious, or something I should have read!

Sorry for the missing this one. I fixed it last night, will be in the next build tomorrow.

That's odd. What's your OS / DAW / Skin size?

For spectral manipulation, we have the spectral filter for waveforms and wavetables. By adding keyframes you can morph between filter responses, and also change even/odd harmonic ratios:

I'm not beta testing your plugin I'm just using it as I would any other synth. I didn't bother to note the "exact names of presets" or the steps, it simply crashes while in normal use.
I figured out the root cause for this crash, and fixed it. It happens when you load a SM3 preset with multiple layers into another layer. Fix is on the way :tu:

Mac OS and have tried Bitwig and Live. Following your message, I tried other skin sizes, and it's only happening with the 220% size. Works fine even at 200%, which gives me a workaround for now.

Can confirm this build works in KK v2.9.6. Yay!

Last little niggle here is the artwork. My SM1 and SM2 entries (on my S61 MKII) have the normal "image" that appears on screen when scrolling thru the instruments under the KV331 "Vendor" selection - but SM3 simply appears as a default "placeholder" icon.

I see there is the usual PAResource folder that contains the icon and graphics payloads - but none of these are loading correctly.

Again - a very small thing - but a thing nonetheless.

Ok that's great news! I'll hold off on installing SM3 until the fix is released. I've almost got the new system set up all the way. A lot more work than I remember.....
