Hello,

I hope I'm in the right section of the forum.
Hope my question is ok with the rules and my English won't be too bad since it's not my former language.

Well, this is my problem: I litterally spent hours trying to make slide notes working, but I failed.
I spent hours searching on the internet, reading threads (including here), watching videos, but I failed.
In despair, I come here to ask my question: how by hell can I make a slide between notes in this great plugin that is AGML?

I read the usuer manual. I'm using Ableton Live 12 Suite. I'm a beginner and I never played guitar in real life so terms like "strum" or "choke" just don't mean anything to me, and I don't know how a guitar works. I know it's sad and I hope I'll learn, but just for now I'd like to make my simple slide notes if possible!

So, I noticed that I had to activate the "Legato slide" note which seems to be E0. I noticed it has to be activated at the beginning of the first note, and then the second note has to "recover" the first note.
I also noticed that the two notes have to be on the same string which is, I guess, the case for the two notes I picked in my example (D2 and D#2).
"Auto LS" is activated, since I guess it's mandatory too.

Here is what I did (image can be open in a new tab to see in full size):

Did I do something wrong?
Any help will be very much appreciated.

Are you sure this should work in the lite version? Manuals you download from the website are for version 3 and may not apply to AGM Lite which is still version 2.

Anyway, the version 3 manual says that E0 must be ahead of the start note. From what I can see in the picture your E0 is not ahead but starts at the same time. Ample instruments are very picky in this regard.

Thank you very much for your answer.
Not sure at all indeed, I was but now you make me doubt! All the tutorials I found were with the full version and I didn't notice it.
Maybe it should work, maybe not, not sure about it. What sounds strange to me is the fact that the option is present so I guess it should work. Usually, options that have been removed from the full version are missing (the buttons are not here).

By the way, I also tried to place E0 before (I guess ahead means before?) the start not, but it didn't change.

Is it possible to confirm if the slide is available in the Lite version? Maybe I'm trying to do something impossible. Very confusing in that case because the keyswitch looks available in the interface.

it's definitely a full version thing. it works (excellently in my full version - even sliding up and down while you keep a note selected...) but not in my light version. same for the light vs full bass.
