Examigan do you know if you can pull the ARPs out to midi like you can the drums? I can't see anything indicating that you can. I like to be able to change up ARPs in midi later in the process.

I don't think you can, but it's been quite a while since I used it, so I may be wrong. I just looked at the manual for a refresher, and didn't see anything about that in there.

Actually (just fiddling around with it for 5 minutes) you need to download some (big) models that should be pre-trained, given their size (about 5GB).
They have a "pro" version for 149$ and that could be the reason why there's a free version (still need to understand what's NOT included in the free version).
The concept of this plug looks interesting...

Our dataset consists of 486492 audio recordings, where 472618 are from Freesound and 13874 are from the Free Music Archive (FMA). All audio files are licensed under CC0, CC BY, or CC Sampling+. This data is used to train our autoencoder and DiT. We use a publicly available pre-trained T5 model (t5-base) for text conditioning.

I'm in the same situation, but Plugin Boutique puts new things on sale as the month goes on, so it might be worth waiting if you're not in a hurry.

There are plenty of items under $5 & $10. If you really want Backbone you can just get one of those as a throwaway plugin, or just to giveaway. I think that is a better approach instead of trying to force yourself to find a plugin that you like(which you might not even use).
