Free Sequential Style Vintage Skins for Repro-1 and Repro-5 (Updated 3-09-25)

(Updated 10-20-24) Here is an updated Repro-5 Vintage Slim skin for 1.1.3 beta and hopefully the next official release. This includes Funkybot's Velvet controls additions. Thanks to all the Funkybot for the script programming heavy lifting, etc.! We plan to get a new Repro-1 skin together soon.

This is really great work, Thanks for your efforts, It's my default skin. Any update on the progress of the Repro-1 skin? I'm using the vintage one downloaded from U-He Patch Lib, which needs the FX chain fix and drench shows up almost completely black.

If Abernathy is open to picking RePro-1 back up, I made the script changes for RePro-1, which were a lot. This was a lot more complex than RePro-5. I don't know if people really pay attention but when you compare the old "Vintage" skin for RePro-1 to the new default, a LOT of things are located in similar places, but panes are different sizes, and everything moves around a bit.

Anyway, to "finish this off", new background panes would be required for the Keys/FX selector, MM Panel, and FX. We'd also need a new Key Control icon and move the MIDI dot indicator. I can try to take a stab at it, but if Abernathy has the original theme elements, it'll be much easier and better if he can do it.

Abernathy, if you see this and have the time. Shoot me an email. If you want me take my best try at finishing this off, I can do that too.

No promises to anyone as to when (if ever) that may be completed.

Abernathy, if you want to improve this, feel free. I basically just recolored the default skin's Keys BG, and FX Rack BG, KC Button, then moved a bunch of stuff like the MIDI indicator, as well as the keypress indicators.

The Repro-5 skin is a special "slim" skin - shorter to have less wasted space. Catch is that the Presets and Tweaks panel cover the top of the Effects and Keys a bit.

What do you think of using this as a lock icon? I use the lock quite a bit and it sticks out in a way I don't love. This is a little less obvious but that can also be a good thing.

Well, you got me messing with this... I made the lock red with no background circle, to match other red GUI elements. See what you think. The white lock was REALLY subtle, especially on the small switch version. But I've also included your circle version, and a white lock w/o background version as alternates.

Repro-1 and Repro-5 Vintage skins for version 1.1.3 are now official! Lots of little tweaks. Funkybot and I are glad to be done with this for now... See the initial post for download. Enjoy!

I'm totally biased but there are lots of nice changes that impact both skins/plugins. These came out killer IMO.
