That was my laugh for the day. :D

That’s a good price. I’ll check out the demo version.

I really would like a "real" Alesis Andromeda A6 emulation, but that one might be too "modern". Arturia and Cherry Audio covers a lot of ground already, so what's left?
Yeah, other than the Andromeda, what is left?

I keep wishing for a Mutable Instruments Shruthi/Ambika emulation. But that is such a niche synth. Most people are unaware of it. I don't know how well an emulation of something like that would sell. Plus, it seems like only Arturia or maybe Cherry Audio could pull that off. GForce is all about taking relatively simple synths, getting their tone right, and then bolting on GForce's X-LFO and X-ADSR modulators and FX, and calling it a day.

But still, I can hope, right? IMO, the Shruthi/Ambika is a great-sounding (albeit lo-fi) hybrid synth.

I, personally, would like a VCS-3 emulation from GForce.

The tone from that thing is so unique, and I imagine it would be challenging to recreate it? I'm not a developer, I wouldn't know.

I have a PIN Portabella and would love for that sound and style of sonic exploration in a software synthesizer from an outstanding developer such as GForce.

Would it not be nice if the GForce dev team focused on something other than Oberheim?
My "issue" is not the price. It is time and energy lost on something that could have been, I guess.

For the record, I'm a big fan of GForce. Love their synths and how they sound.

Fun fact: one of my favorite producers uses GForce all of the time, and used a GForce preset for this track, see if you can notice it: That album achieved #1 on the US Billboard Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart. Pretty cool to me. Have always thought that GForce presets are some of the best in the game.
dear god , from the land that gave us dopplereffekt , Juan Atkins , Underground resitance etc , this tops the charts ??

Yes. So did Talking Heads.

Maybe once they have milked this cow completely dry, they might have enough money to invest in something different, rather than variations on a theme.

Until then, why kill the golden goose?
How original

Check out this interview with Zane Lowe: https://on.soundcloud.com/VJhVdgZkjqXoxMj26

It will start to make sense.

Rumor has it Gforce is having a discussion with Yamaha about creating a plugin version of a legendary synth. Apparently Vangelis was quite fond of that synth....

Anyway, I'll have to demo this tvs pro. I did request a standalone ratcheting sequencer from them so if it Tangerine Dreams I'll probably have to give them my support.

Slicing, dicing, and repackaging the Oberheim SEM from every possible angle. I'm a fan of GForce, but I think we're hitting the point of max saturation with these SEM variants.

Even though I've got all the rest of them, I'll be getting this one too.
If they look at this board, I hope they get the message that's everyone's wanting an Oberheim Matrix 12 emulation.
I'd also like to see an Andromeda vsti, but it seems like that might come from someone else eventually.

The limitation of two voice polyphony isn't worth it for me even at that price, gonna pass

This synth has a killer sequencer ! That’s its point. It’s not a limitation, when it’s the entire point of the synths design.

So you will only ever use sequenced patches with this synth? Is that a promise? Can I come look over your shoulder to make sure you never use the synth for anything but sequenced sounds?

Yeah I was really hoping that would be the next Oberheim they create. I mean the one from Arturia is ok but I'm pretty sure GForce would do a better job with it in terms of raw sound quality.. not so sure about flexibility/usability though.
