I think they all show up under keys pretty much. Unless I'm mixing it up with a different massive collection I downloaded for dx7 v.

So, these only show up in the Sound Bank location in the plugin after importing them? Because, that works for me, but I only seem to be able to import files individually. Isn't there a way to do them as a batch (on Windows)?

Presets (these presets) are are imported into, and stored infelis wrote: Fri May 02, 2025 9:44 pm Anyone know where to find them after importing? So they can be sorted.
On Win., I don't have any preset folder in 'app. data' except for native instruments.
C:\ProgramData\Arturia\Presets\DX7 V\User
There, you will have a folder for each SYX bank imported, and inside that folder, the presets are stored individually, as saparate files.
But I advise you to do all the preset management using the Library Tools in each instrument.

So this thread ( 6 years old
) reminds me why seeing Arturia drop backward compatibility for new stuff, feels like a step backwards. Particularly for digitally driven synths. The OG Roland JP8000 that the new Arturia Jup-8000 is modeled after is a sample + synthesis package. Arturia re-working their copy and not remaining backward (patch) compatible is a bummer. I saw huge value in the DX7 V having access to these thousands of older patches. Similarly.. their Jup-8000V could have benefited from the scores of available older patches, had Arturia targeted staying compatible. Who knows? Maybe Roland said no? In any case - this thread reminded me of the huge value of Arturia having stayed compatible in the past. Yes… some of the re-writes, dropped compatibility, in the name of better sonics (and I applaud them for that!), but they kept the old versions around, for those of us who had used the prior version in their DAW. Anyway .. Im still using the roughly 25 banks of older DX7 presets that I got here. Keep on keeping on. . .
