I still can't fathom that we might be getting a Z3 this year.

That's sound promising. Uhbik would be by far the oldest plugin I've purchased, that's received an update. Bought it back in October 2010, nearly 15 years ago.Urs wrote: Tue May 06, 2025 10:25 am Next up, we have internally seeded a Beta of Uhbik 2.0, which still needs some final issues fixed before we can go public. However, it is looking very, very good. The team involved with Uhbik has been churning through a vast amount of tickets and feature wishes, and we think it's gonna be a really great and round package:
P.S.: Yes, I'm pretty sure, some early Z2 users can easily top that.

A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one

Lol, I'm a very opinionated person and I feel the same way sometimes. Like I wish my brain would give me a break and just chill.

Yeah, so sometimes I have this reaction when I'm partway through typing a longer comment. I can feel myself losing interest in whatever I was aiming to express, and then think, "Okay so if I feel this way, imagine how others will feel reading this." And I abort the whole thing.coroknight wrote: Thu May 08, 2025 2:25 pmLol, I'm a very opinionated person and I feel the same way sometimes. Like I wish my brain would give me a break and just chill.
This was different! This was me disagreeing with a design decision that was clearly already committed to, and wanting to voice that in the hopes of convincing Urs of the rightness of my opinion. But Urs already knows my argument! He's considered it! He evidently disagrees! And he's actually smarter than me. So I can just STFU because I honestly want these new product reveals and whatnot to be met with the enthusiasm I truly believe they deserve.
This stuff looks awesome, genuinely, I'm stoked for all of it. I can't wait!
(In my desire to edit out my criticism, I forgot to add the enthusiasm, so here it is, and it's sincere!)

Also, we have a new hardware module coming to Eurorack soonishly. Production has just started, so depending on how smooth this goes, we should be in stores in less than a handful of months. I try to be cautious though, but Cen2rion should be a no-brainer.
(Funny enough, for me personally it improves on a discontinued module by Make Noise, which was sorely missed, and now Make Noise coincidentally have their own take on a successor, posing a completely different compositional focus. Ours is sooo much better of course!)

Oh yes, there's a well meaning homage to Toasters in there... fans of Battlestar Galactica will know what I mean...

We have hired 3 DSP-focussed developers in the past few months, including Vadim, one from another large company, one student, and two existing devs are turning from day-to-day work to DSP.rafa1981 wrote: Thu May 08, 2025 2:59 pmYou aren't lyingUrs wrote: Tue May 06, 2025 2:56 pm We have concentrated incredible knowledge about filter modelling and young talent in our development team, so we hope to seamlessly move over from Zebra 3 development to Diva development in a few months. If you can work all together without friction it's certainly going to be interesting...
This does not necessarily means things will go a lot faster. The tasks at hand have also become incredibly much harder than they were ten years ago. But I'm confident we'll find a groove.

Hahaha, no, it's not Stefano. I met him a few times, he's a very nice guy. I guess it would have been talked about had he appeared on our team page. Vadim really just started this week, hence he isn't on there.
That said, we have always had a few former employees of Ableton, Magix, Celemony, NI. A few of us also went to them. It's kind of normal, for Berlin based people anyway.
