Next steps for Bazille

Hi,
I was wondering if there will be any next steps for u-he virtual modular synths- like Bazille. I think that it would be really interesting to expand the synths with more modules that allow for non-keyboard experimentation (e.g. quantizer that adapts to scales, clock dividers). If i recall correctly there was a vision some years ago to create a complete modular system. Perhaps that is no longer on the cards with the range of competing solutions (e.g. VCV, Reaktor, Cherry)?
What do people think? And what would you like to see in a Bazille's evolution?

I'm all for more West Coast synthesis stuff, like scale quantizers, clock dividers, attenuverters, etc.. I dig how they did the scale quantizer in Hive 2 to bring in some of that flavor in a synth you wouldn't normally associate with modular/West Coast.
I think Urs has already stated that he's incorporating some of that into Z3's design elements, or will, which is cool.
At one point they kicked around the idea of VCV modules but I think the developer left. Maybe that will be back on the cards someday. I'd love having U-he and Cytomic modules together in VCV. What could be better than that outside of analog?
But yeah, the big "Belin Modular" project has been shelved from what I understand, but I think Urs has made clear that he'd like to incorporate West Coast principals into the product line and he's a big fan of modular (as evidenced by their hardware).

Yeah, would love to add things, but we really need to focus on Z3 now, then Diva next. OTOH we're now twice as many devs as we used to be, maybe at some point we can have a team work on ACE/Bazille as well.

I would like to see some workflow improvements in Bazille.abobby wrote: Mon May 12, 2025 12:58 pm What do people think? And what would you like to see in a Bazille's evolution?
1 - Copy/Paste between Osc's would be an example.
2 - A mirror option where there are 2 Osc's, 2 Env's an LFO, 2 Multiples and a Filter in each and editing one half of the mirror also updates the other.
Features:
1 - An added super high quality mode
2 - An alternate Filter type could be fun to explore
3 - Improved/New FX including a per voice distortion
Workflow improvements to speed up sound design would be my main request.
Besides that, I'm happy with Bazille as is since I use the CLAP version in Bitwig and every knob can be modulated per voice using Bitwig modulation. That alone is like a Bazille 2.0.

Is there any chance of Diva getting a nice new default theme that looks more like the MONA theme?Urs wrote: Mon May 12, 2025 3:00 pm Yeah, would love to add things, but we really need to focus on Z3 now, then Diva next. This theme is absolutely beautiful! However, it is a third-party theme.
I prefer to use built-in themes, rather than 3rd party themes, because there is no guarantee that a third party theme will remain compatible with the plugin when updates come.

I agree that MONA improves on a lot of aspects of the factory skin. Somehow it feels like more things are accessible and faster to use. I'm sure Plugmon will keep at it

I bought it, liked it and still ended up back on the Gearporn skin
