I just installed the free version. Each time I run it there is a window I have to wait for. It has a 15 second countdown everytime before I can start using it. It's not horrible of course, but a bit annoying.

In that case, I wouldn't condemn an owner of a legitime license to use an unofficial modified version to use the software he paid for.

The US’s DMCA sort of allows for this as well in the bit about reverse engineering for interoperability. The catch being that you’re meant to do it yourself rather than going off the shelf.

I didn’t know there was still a demo version of it, so I checked it out once again. It is a cool synth of course, but only for 30 mins at a time, among the other limitations.
