"Those who choose to contribute through regular donations will receive exclusive benefits, creating a cooperative ecosystem rather than a simple transactional model".

Sounds like communism. North Korea.

I suppose those who choose not to make regular donations will be sent to a re-ducation facility.

I asked ChatGTP for some help.

Comrades who pledge their monthly rations (aka donations) shall be granted access to the People's Exclusive Benefits™ — not as a capitalist bribe, but as a symbol of their glorious commitment to the collective! Together, we build not a cold, transactional dystopia — but a radiant, cooperative utopia where perks are shared and the means of subscription are owned by all!

Not to take away your fun but "KageMusicKorea is a professional music and audio production studio based in Seoul, South Korea."

I wonder if they hunt demons.

All joking aside. Fair play to them. I'd be checking the pluging out if I could. Unfortunately ...

I think it's worth mentioning, since 8dio is having a sale of a sale, you can get a bundle of bundles, for not a lot. Like 300GB of stuff for epic orchestral sketching/trailer stuff for 74$:

Music, just like tortilla, is no fun without a bit of "cheese". :clown:

Newbies won't know this, but there once was a time where you had to have purchased $1.500,- of 8Dio libraries in order to be accepted into a special club that allowed you to buy the more expensive, higher end 8Dio stuff. Fun times!

There was also a time where they wouldn't sell you if they didn't like the country you lived in. Also wouldn't sell you even after you identified yourself with a selfie while holding a f**king passport, to show them that it's really you and no, you were not a pirate gang mastermind.

I do like Soundpaint and wish them luck but to me they'll always be c**ts.

Soundiron, on the other hand... they were always awesome.

Hmmm....kind of giving off a Flowstone-ish vibe.
Yeah… and the huge area of nothingness on the KG SUB and KG Clarity is a waste. :?

The price.
It looks like they've cottoned on and increased the price. It was sub £3 initially.

That’s too bad because SoundPaint is the best library hub going IMO. Exactly what I was after.

I have to agree with midi sentinal on this.I bought Disco Strings on the Soundpaint platform and had it call out for an activation code one night as I was trying to finish a mix.The owner of the company admitted that this behavior is built into the platform saying that he'd been stung by pirating before when working with Kontakt and they were taking this approach. He offered a refund which I passed on. To me nothing about Soundpaint is better than Kontakt and they should let users know that this will happen before you purchase . I've heard of other vst's doing this but never owned one. I have 3 SP libraries but would never add another

It's so subjective then. I'm not a Kontakt expert but I far prefer using SoundPaint. It loads faster, has a more modern interface, has brilliant randomization and layer morphing which is really my thing for sound design. I'm blown away by it to be honest and have pretty much stopped buying any other libraries. But we all have different needs so not trying to change your mind. I just recommend anyone else interested to check it out.

The morphing in Soundpaint sounds like crap, all to often. Do others get nice sounds from the morphing?
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.
