So it will not cut the cost of upgrading to the collection?Korg Supporter wrote: Tue Sep 30, 2025 12:21 pmIf you want a retro ROMpler with nice pads and instruments and are not interested in upgrading to the KORG Collection, go for it! First purchase on PluginBoutique after the website restyling for me... No more PayPal option to pay for the plugins...
Any suggestion for some similar cheap item on AudioDeluxe? Or does someone have a spare pure:dees license to trade?

I think you can get the collection for $250. I don't know until I get my M1 copy today.gaf_thit wrote: Tue Sep 30, 2025 2:50 pmSo it will not cut the cost of upgrading to the collection?Korg Supporter wrote: Tue Sep 30, 2025 12:21 pmIf you want a retro ROMpler with nice pads and instruments and are not interested in upgrading to the KORG Collection, go for it! Earlier this year, Plugin Boutique had the Korg Collection on sale for $199. They also had crossgrades for $149 and $99 if you already owned 1 or 2 instruments, respectively, in the Collection. If that deal comes back for Black Friday then buying the M1 now for $25 and doing the $149 crossgrade would get you the Collection for $174 total.
Whether any of us actually *need* another dozen synth plugins, however, is another question entirely.

Iconic for the piano, used on many classic house and techno tracks. If that’s what you’re looking for, F9 Audio made a sample pack of all the famous piano sounds that I would probably recommend instead.maldomusica wrote: Tue Sep 30, 2025 9:23 am I know Korg M1 is a super iconical gear, but Is it worth buying if I have the Arturia V Collection 8? This is less than I paid, since starting with the arp 2600, with the $99 upgrade, I still paid $200 or so.robelanator wrote: Tue Sep 30, 2025 3:23 pm Earlier this year, Plugin Boutique had the Korg Collection on sale for $199. Yeah, I think their new site is still a work in progress. I did get the PayPal option at first, then it disappeared after I applied the discount code. Then I started the process again by getting out of the cart, then back in. At that point, it showed the code already applied, and the PayPal option was back and worked.ben_ita wrote: Tue Sep 30, 2025 2:56 pm First purchase on PluginBoutique after the website restyling for me... Also, it looks like the library search is super-optimised now. It stops letting you enter any letters in the name as soon as it finds a singular match. Highly functional, I guess, but annoying.
I do like that it now has a button for available updates on the software you've purchased. If that was in the previous version, I never noticed it. That said, in the past, PB hasn't always had the very latest update listed. Always good to check the software's mothersite. But it's good to at least know that there's something to check.
I surmise that we'll likely be finding some other oddities...

On mobile phones, the drop down search by "Brands" has disappeared but is still there when I use my desktop. Often making it not worth checking due to the other usual oddities of how they group things.GreyLion wrote: Tue Sep 30, 2025 5:56 pmYeah, I think their new site is still a work in progress. BTW, I live in the USA, bought from there just last night and used PayPal without any issue.
add/edit: Just went there and added something to my cart on mobile and PayPal is no longer there. So I logged on using my desktop and it PayPal is there. So hopefully this is something going on with their migration and will be fixed to be consistent between platforms. (Windows/Android).

Hmm I forget how that went. I don’t remember thinking it overboard or anything. YMMV I guess.solvni_music wrote: Tue Sep 30, 2025 6:48 pmRegistration methodpekbro wrote: Tue Sep 30, 2025 6:38 pmNever seen that, and I’ve had it for quite a while.solvni_music wrote: Tue Sep 30, 2025 6:32 pm What is the anti pirate security on random metal by beatsurfing?
