is it possible to bypass the Reverb (only the Reverb) and lock that, so it´s fixed while browsing sounds ?
"Plugin has turned Drug now"....and the business knows it.

Another minor gripe - most of the global controls can have host automation enabled but not the buttons like filter on/off or effects on/off. Would like to have that (especially the latter) available for control surfaces that use host id controls.

How long did you guys have to wait?
Yeah me too. Paying via credit card failed two times. Now the money is two times blocked on my account, but no Omnisphere 3 :bang:

Anyone tested out MPE? Any automatic mapping for the presets?

I don't think Sound Lock's behaviour has changed since Omni 2.0. So you can lock all the effects and keep browsing, but not an individual effect AFAIK.

You can turn the filter(s) off an on using the power switches found on the Filter Zoom page. The main power button there turns them both on or off, and then there are individual switches for the two filters

https://support.spectrasonics.net/manua ... ers-page11

While not in the global controls screen it has the same effect and can easily be assigned to be visible to host automation or via MIDI learn

You can turn all of the FX on and off by clicking on the "blue LED" under the FX Tab. Again this can be assigned via MIDI learn or Host Automation by right clicking on it

If you have extra buttons available to program you can also turn individual effects on and off

This is the first video that's convince me.

(Even without support).
Or does it specifically kill those like Steinberg did?
Says Windows 10 or higher at the bottom of the v3 page :

I'm going to play it safe, and wait until I get a new computer early next year. Just in case. I'm running Omnisphere 2 on Windows 7 without any problems, but it would suck to spend the money on the upgrade, and then find I can't use it yet. It won't kill me to wait.

I haven't seen anything about that, but I doubt it's a feature they'll add. You can already do FM within the oscillator, and the modulator is a wavetable identical to the synth oscillator. That might technically 'only' be two-operator FM, but there's a lot of flexibility.
Yeah, there's already lots of flexibility. However, you can only use FM with an oscilator, not with a sample. Which is a pity, as it would allow you to use all the wonderful samples for use with FM or PM.
You can do FM with samples in Omnisphere 2. I just tried it about 5 minutes ago. I would assume that hasn't changed in version 3.

Yeah, it's quite frustrating. Still waiting for support to reply. Money has been blocked, but nothing. The plugin also doesn't show anything (still Omnisphere 2).

I don't see anything inside of the plugin. It's still Omnisphere 2. Money has been blocked, but also in my Spectrasonics account I cannot see anything related to a purchase or indication of an upgraded license.

Good hint about the global effects button, it is automatable, thanks. And not a big deal about global filter on/off I'd leave it on anyways.

Haven't touched Omnisphere in over 5 years, but after watching this I'm tempted to upgrade. Recently I've been thinking that I should spend less time doing sound design and now that O3 is released, maybe this would be more efficient than Kontakt for rompler duties. The UI hasn't changed much but at least it's gotten slightly more visually appealing.

Ughhh... Can't decide if I'd really use this enough to justify the purchase or if I'm just GAS'ing.
