Puh, noone asked for something like this so far. I would find it also not helpful having to open the menu and select a different speed just to change a parameter. Then I would rather use the mouse.Bobby L'Avenir wrote: Sun Nov 02, 2025 6:51 pm Hi Moss,
Can I make a suggestion/feature request.
It would be really great to have a quick access toggle of knob sensitivity in the top tab above the time line ruler. That way it's set and the user can control plugins with one hand on the push and the other on the keys etc.
I find myself having to go all the way into the controller settings to switch between sensitivity settings because some plugs need more or less than others to work properly without the moue or the screen on. Maybe a simple 3 mode switch between -100, normal and +100 in that menu would work very well?
Holding shift doesn't really work to get fine control, not if right handed and even then, most people including me have the push off to the right or left and not dead centre, so you move out of the speakers stereo field to hold shit and turn a knob, plus both hands are taken then too.
What are your thoughts on this?

Hi, I have a question about configuring the Flexi script. I have tried to research in this thread, but couldn't find anything relevant to my needs, if this is due to my oversight, apologies. Basically, I'd like use my Akai MidiMix controller to have a rudimentary mixing controls for 8 selected tracks at a time. The controller has 9 faders, 24 knobs and 28 buttons, so it begs to be used to control volumes of 8 tracks with faders, use two buttons per tracks for solo/mute, use three knobs per track to control gains of a 3-band equalizer, and the remaining buttons to move the 8-track selection focus forward and backward. I guess more generally one would want to just be able to control 3 track remotes per track and assign them to whatever devices on that track. The crucial point is being able to map the remotes of the currently selected 8 tracks and being able to move the 8-track "window".
So the closest I could find in the Flexi manual, is to use the "Volume mode" but that only allows to map faders to volumes. You can also assign the control of a track remote of the currently selected track to a given knob, but that means that there is no way to tweak remotes on several tracks simultaneously. Am I missing something? Is there a way to implement the mapping I have described above?

There is currently no support to control multiple devices on multiple tracks at once besides using Project Remote Controls.personnealienee wrote: Fri Nov 07, 2025 11:30 am Hi, I have a question about configuring the Flexi script. ok sounds good, yeah it is v buggy, post record actions dont work either, and tempo clips only on the horizontal launcher. I reported the other things just wasn't sure the approach on this

check it out! Clip launcher is coming together. current design with faders in between to give access to sends at the bottom. might move the post record actions and time buttons above the launcher so there is access to a list of devices on selected track on the right.

Hey, first of all, thanks for the amazing script!
I've been using the Push 3 with Bitwig on macOS for a few days now, and it's such a great experience.
I installed Linux (Pop!_OS) today and I'm having some issues with my Push 3. The script is installed inside Bitwig and the controller shows up in the settings, however, my Push display still says “Connect Push to a computer and open Live to make music.”
I have no idea what else I can try. does anyone have any hints?
Thanks in advance!
Edit: I didn't read the manual.
Solution: To run the Application as a normal user copy the file
99-userusbdevices.rules to the folder /etc/udev/rules.d/. It gives the group audio access to
the Push 2/3 controller. Make sure that your user is a member of that group and the group does exist. After you have copied the file reboot your computer.

Yes then this is defeating the purpose of having a controller, to avoid using the mouse in the first place.moss wrote: Fri Nov 07, 2025 8:51 amPuh, noone asked for something like this so far. What are your thoughts on this?
I asked before if you could put this into the controller itself and you said it wasn't possible and that i had to select the -/+ option in the push menu in the controller section of bitwig. So all I'm asking now is can that menu be less clicks to access?
Unless you can find a way to put it in the controller then we can have the the best solution, the screen OFF, and the ears focused on the music.
Pay attention to how people speak these days" i went to see X DJ", really, you saw his music did you.
My point is we mix with our ears and see the music on screen and it makes us make different decision, hence why people love hardware synths and outboard gear, it's hands on, no PC screen. Your amazing script is a bridge for this type of workflow, i do lots of my mixing mastering with my panorama and push, screen blacked out with the black screen app. Top engineers recommend this too, the eyes distract from the other sense that matters most, with music.
So please reconsider my suggestion Moss

Hey there. I'm on the latest beta (6.6). When I'm in session mode and I press a pad, it correctly plays the pad, but it doesn't switch to that clip on my computer screen if I'm viewing another clip. I have to click on the clip with my mouse to get Bitwig to show me the clip contents. I've tested with Bitwig 5 and it is working correctly.

@moss
Hey, I have a couple of questions about the Generic Flexi (which I am quite happy you took the time to develop for helpless souls like me, so thanks for that!):
- is there a way to select a specific clip in the "Selected slot - Function" menus ? For Track, FX Track, Device, Layer, it is possible to select a specific entry but when it comes to clips, there is no selection entries based on a number (say clip 1, 2 or whatever), the only possibilities are Previous or Next. It is similar with scenes, those aren't explicitly selectable. You can launch them but not select. I find it a little odd because those items are selectable (just with the mouse). Am I missing or misunderstanding something about the flexi extension ?
UPDATE: Reading further, I can see it's a Bitwig limitation: viewtopic.php?t=598848
It is quite odd that scenes and clips can't be remotely selected like tracks can.

Greetings,
New here. Is it normal to have less pad sensitivity on Bitwig vs Ableton? I've tried lowering threshold setting via the new curve graph settings but there doesn't seem to be much of a difference. Is there any other page or settings I should be looking at?
Thanks!

2025 - same question.matthieu87 wrote: Mon Aug 29, 2022 10:24 pm Hi Jürgen,
Question on Apc 40 MKII:
Do you think it’s possible to have an option when apc’s faders are fully up it match odb on bitwig volume faders instead of +10db ?
Thanks for your time !
plz plz plz make fader maximum value in track volume mode = 0 Db. dont want to put tool and set it to -10 db on every track for my live performances.
also... who will ever set paning with fader??))) may be its better to set it for something more useful in live situations?
what we are dealing with here is a total lack of respect for the law
