Zebra 3 CPU Burner.jpg

So here is pretty much the same patch as in the previous screenshot. You see the CPU Burner uses humungous amounts of CPU, thus forces Zebra 3 to be run on a performance core. And there you have it the oscillators and filters now show their real CPU usage, which is much lower than an isolated measurement on an efficiency core suggests.
Wonderful, I was worried you were going to ship Zebra 3 without any analog warmth.

And welcome to page 100.

You have a very limited experience then. Before you challenge me on this, think twice.

Why the hostility?

Limited experience <- pun on having the experience that certain limiters on things are always helpful

3 weeks ago it was "it's more like 4-6 weeks than 2-3 weeks" so ...
Will dare to ask one last time Mr.Urs, how's the feelings, how many more weeks ?

P.S.
asking that on 100st page, which was alluded as release page number

The UI you showed as draft 11/25 on facebook looks a bit more ‘orderly’ in the lower section. Osc 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 and the same with MSEG and Mapper in this one feels a bit… incomplete(?) I’m aware it’s not released yet 😄 Looks like you have moved the drag and drop target points for MSEG and Mapper up to the upper part of the lower section as well? Other than that the UI looks slick as a Bugatti

More like 4 weeks than 2. I think we need to get this out as public beta before the holiday season even if a few (hopefully minor) bugs remain.

Also, will there be any filter pre/post distortion effects?

It's all Work In Progress. Having the Mod Assigners right on the tabs is *much* faster. We'll make it look nice.

Quite the assembly: Distortion modules, Wavefolders, super non-linear Ringmodulators. Just place them before or after a filter...

The GUI is really coming along nicely!
BTW what are those V1/V2 knobs on the envelope?

These are options available from the drop down below the knobs. Currently we have those:

V1 (unipolar)
- Delay
- Hold
- Init
- Stack (Minimoog envelope quirk)
- Overshoot (get Attack to rise above Sustain)

V2 (bipolar)
- Gain (can invert the envelope, useful for global envelope gain control to save Matrix Slots)
- Key Scale (at -100% the envelopes key track)
- Feedback (modulate time params by env itself, a trick to change curvature)
- Stretch (down to milliseconds or up to a minute or so)

Would be great to get a short 'teaser trailer' style video as it looks like we're getting close now...
