Zebra 3 and Zebra Legacy

I have all of the u-he syntsh, except Ace and all of them are great product but IMHO not the UI decisions and not the GUI. Diva and Hive are ugly and Bazille is not pretty too. u-he are my only synths where I look for alternative GUI solutions, because the originals are weak or strange.
Compared to Pigments and even Falcon, the usability of u-he stuff is not always very logical for me and I often have to consult the manual. I never read the manual for Pigments, because it's so straight forward and just works as you expect it to and it has inline help. In Falcon you have to understand the whole principle just once and after that it's nearly always very logical, especially for modulation stuff.
My solution is to avoid u-he's original/smart solutions like the Hive function generators or Bazille's sequencer, where you can't just draw a line, but need many clicks for simple shapes. Or the strange back panel in Repro..
But the new Zebralette's UI and GUI is super good. The best u-he GUI I have ever seen. Both original and the dark mode are beatiful. Almost perfect in my opinion. Very usable and functional, nothing crazy but very straight forward. I hope in Zebra it will be similar, no new crazy modular rack inspired stuff for smart people, but just simple, functional but still powerful UI.

100% this. I am already wanting all other products to start using such wonderful curve tools, interface mechanisms and beautifully simplistic look and feel, whilst offering the power seen.Stirner wrote: Thu Dec 04, 2025 7:41 pm ...the new Zebralette's UI and GUI is super good. Hi Urs and team,
Just wanted to send some positive energy your way during this final crunch! I've been following the progress closely and I'm genuinely excited to get my hands on the Zebra 3 beta.
I've been waiting for this since 2015, so my F5 key is getting a serious workout! I'm standing by and ready to jump in for testing whenever you feel it's ready for us.
Good luck with the final polish!

I have a question will Zebra Legacy be still available when Zebra 3 launches?
Thank you.
Thank you.

Could you please illuminate a fellow KVRian and explain what you mean by "rsp"?
After scouring the Internet, I've noted that the expression may have 400+ distinct meanings depending on context, which means that a person (me …) with limited internet slang familiarity has to show his ignorance in public …

Just watched a video showing Z3: wow, so very excited. I noticed he was using «controllers A-D», along with pitch and mod wheels. What are folks using for these: external faders on a synth controller, or, perhaps a MIDI Fighter Twister? Never done this for other performance parameters in a soft synth, curious to learn what kind of controller is best to get ready when Z3 is fully-baked and finally here in a month or two...
Thank you.
Thank you.

One of the things on our eternal ToDo list is to also add visual feedback to ABCD, and the ability to automate them in the DAW for those who prefer that over MIDI.sayatnova wrote: Thu Dec 11, 2025 6:28 am Just watched a video showing Z3: wow, so very excited. In the meantime, Live and Bitwig users at least, can automate the knobs of their respective MIDI CC devices. Bitwig 100% has a native one and I've used a free/cheap 3rd party M4L device in Live before but maybe there is a native one now.Urs wrote: Thu Dec 11, 2025 9:36 am One of the things on our eternal ToDo list is to also add visual feedback to ABCD, and the ability to automate them in the DAW for those who prefer that over MIDI.
Always Read the Manual!
