+1 to the list of users affected by the license expired issue. Agree with all the compaints here.
I've got V6 which still works. However, many many songs and all my projects created in V7 will now not open in v6. I know it warns you before you save in later version, however I thought the license was perpetual so wasn't worried. Anyone found a workaround to get stuff to open retrospectively in a previous versioin?
Still waiting for them to respond BTW.

Not possible to open a v7 project in v6. Studio One is forward compatible only.porridge wrote: Mon Dec 15, 2025 10:34 am +1 to the list of users affected by the license expired issue. Agree with all the compaints here.

And - what exactly are you seeing onscreen for an error?
If you can screencap and post here - I may be able to assist.

But at least it‘s possible to use s1toolbox to try saving the song in a previous format:Vocalpoint Studios wrote: Mon Dec 15, 2025 12:46 pm Not possible to open a v7 project in v6. Studio One is forward compatible only.

Aware of this but it is hit and miss.Crossinger wrote: Mon Dec 15, 2025 1:46 pmBut at least it‘s possible to use s1toolbox to try saving the song in a previous format: https://s1toolbox.com/
Would be better to know the exact message the OP is getting. There have been a couple of messages popping up that look like licensing issues but are really not that.

Yes, agreed - hence the „try“ in my statement.Vocalpoint Studios wrote: Mon Dec 15, 2025 2:52 pmAware of this but it is hit and miss.Crossinger wrote: Mon Dec 15, 2025 1:46 pmBut at least it‘s possible to use s1toolbox to try saving the song in a previous format: https://s1toolbox.com/
