Yes, the snare is awful. I knew nothing about EQ, compression or anything back then. We're talking like 30 something years ago. But I knew how to write a song. I just needed to learn all the other stuff.

Yes, that is my voice when I could still sing. Well, somewhat sing. I'm not sure how I would sound singing that song today.

You'd be surprised how many singers I love that are probably some of your favorites. I tried to tell you, I've listened to a lot of music in my day. Well, back when music was really great. I can't say that about most of the stuff coming out today and that's sad.

Imagine he played and recorded every single instrument back then and mixed Linn drum with real drums.
There is no human on planet earth now who could make such a performance.

I've got a few songs like that too. I don't expect you to listen to this but this is my favorite Renaissance song of all time. Still brings me to tears 50 years later.
