Like the Sonible team: completely reckless about sound quality, but extremely professional when it comes to bad jokes.

I had some problems adding a credit card to my Pay Pal.I'm in the US and used PP for years just as a sense of security. In the last 4 years I had 3 incidents where retailers or scammers submitted charges that PP chose to pay with my CC. PP was subsequently very slow to contest or reverse these and I had to go to my bank.To be clear none of these charges were music related and none of the retailers were companies we'd normally see here. I've now detached my CC from PayPal. I think to make this work, you'd have to be checking PP daily for any errant chargesDownload SOphist wrote: Wed Feb 18, 2026 11:35 amhmmm.... how come I didn´t think of that? thanks for the tip.khanyz wrote: Wed Feb 18, 2026 7:25 amYou can add the Card to PayPal and override PayPal to charge it in the vendor's currency. That way best of both, better protection and rates.Download SOphist wrote: Tue Feb 17, 2026 8:46 pmBTW, AudioDeluxe´s biggest convenience for me is that they allow payment by credit card. If using Revolut the exchange rate is much more favourable than Paypal´s. If the difference isn't huge (thanks FORUM/GROUP ones!), I buy from JRR.

Amazon has been the culprit for me. I now use a dedicated virtual card with restricted purchase settings and no balance kept on it, preloading as needed. I still get the odd dodgy charge but it is declined and I still have the details to chase it up. I use a disposable one with new vendors for the first couple of orders.
Still a hassle but with no money involved.

I miss MindPrint. My TRIO needs a big brother.

Dear Uncle E, will you have eventually the Arturia FX upgrade or is this an "only-through-Arturia" kind of deal?
Thanks!

Sadly, it's an "only-through-Arturia" kind of deal.

Maybe I'm confused but I feel like I've seen these for like $20-$30 eachDrum4Drum wrote: Fri Feb 20, 2026 5:07 pm SSL sells discounted 4K bundle for $199. I can't decide if it's worth the jump.

Channel Strip 2 (which is not included in this bundle) was $25 during BF sale. I believe 4Ks do not get this level of discounts.changozone wrote: Fri Feb 20, 2026 5:27 pmMaybe I'm confused but I feel like I've seen these for like $20-$30 eachDrum4Drum wrote: Fri Feb 20, 2026 5:07 pm SSL sells discounted 4K bundle for $199.
