Why did Lennar Digital never release another Synth?

There's no Sylenth 2 because some people treated him like garbage on here, then it got cracked a couple of days after release.

Coding and Synth DSP is hard stuff few people are experts in. It's possible that the initial team has dissolved and makes it difficult/impossible to build on code. Could also be legal challenges within the team.
Could also be that developers work particularly slow and they are working on a followup or new version but will release it on their own schedule.

This. A wasted opportunity.Yorrrrrr wrote: Tue Dec 24, 2024 8:27 pm What a waste of a big opportunity. It didn't need to be another synth. A version 2.0 (or a "Sylenth2") would've broke the internet from the very first moment of an announcement.

Would be very sad if that was the reason...osiris wrote: Mon Mar 02, 2026 9:15 pm There's no Sylenth 2 because some people treated him like garbage on here, then it got cracked a couple of days after release.

That big thread was even closed.
KVR might not want that that synth gets too much attention or why was it closed?

Oh there's more. I won't name names. 10/2006:' I don't personally give a flying f**k how this synth was created - but I can recognise someone pulling a fast one when I see it, and I object to this guy attempting to rubbish the work of many the SE third party module developers who I and others have a lot of respect for.'
Lots of rubbish about price and using SE modules being used.

Must have been especially demoralizing to see the cracked version show up in so many famous producers' videos. Guys who were getting paid $100K+ for single gigs.osiris wrote: Mon Mar 02, 2026 9:15 pm There's no Sylenth 2 because some people treated him like garbage on here, then it got cracked a couple of days after release.

Did the plugin cost $ 1.000 19 years ago?

Try reading the last couple of pages of it, it shouldn't be too hard to work out.DCrown wrote: Tue Mar 03, 2026 7:15 pm viewtopic.php?t=509757

Garrix used a cracked version. There is a video of him using it on YT. I guess he doesn’t careUncle E wrote: Tue Mar 03, 2026 7:24 pmMust have been especially demoralizing to see the cracked version show up in so many famous producers' videos. I have a legal license for Sylenth1.

Instead of deleting such comments, they close a thread?
How simple would it be just not make posts that contain some bad words submittable, well, but what I dislike even more is no freedom of speech on the other hand.
