Ctrl D actually reduces the reverb.Milkman wrote: Wed Apr 15, 2026 4:00 am Just had another (the 3rd now, since the previous build) stuck note. Switching preset fixed it.
Was the preset "D-Sparkler". Win11, Cubase 15.
Edit: Yeah I can reproduce it. Found the source: its macro D "DeReverb". It isnt a stuck note, its a stuck reverb. ; )
Did you accidentally change some settings in the mod matrix?
Could you post your version of the preset?

Just for the record: this bug is gone.Indanautilus wrote: Sat Apr 11, 2026 12:04 pm I'm using Reaper on a debian based distro. In some situations the UI freezes for about 30 seconds. For example when I load up "Felt Grand 1" and click on Osc 1 on top of the grid. When I don't remove the instance I'm forced to finally quit the DAW.

Multiples - sorry. I clicked on the "quote" instead of the pencil several times. Need more coffee!

Make sure that the arrow beneath that knob isn't highlighted (which means bipolar), because setting the knob to minimum would lengthen the reverb decay (see matrix slot 10)!Milkman wrote: Wed Apr 15, 2026 4:00 am Just had another (the 3rd now, since the previous build) stuck note. I can load the preset, play a note, its fine.
Then I touch macro D and now the sound is stuck forever.
When I go to the FX page and power it off, the sound stops. Power it on, it comes back without pressing another note. Decay is at 80. I can make the forever note stop if I turn it down to around 50, but at 70+ it is forever.

You know, this happened 3x yesterday and I did not (intentionally) hit the bipolar switch, but today.... upon reviewing the Cubase 15 project I was testing this on last night, the bipolar switch was in fact selected! Maybe my old eyes missed this last night, but I will definitely watch for this! Thank you for the reply, and THANK YOU for the amazing sounds!!!Howard wrote: Wed Apr 15, 2026 7:29 amMake sure that the arrow beneath that knob isn't highlighted (which means bipolar), because setting the knob to minimum would lengthen the reverb decay (see matrix slot 10)!Milkman wrote: Wed Apr 15, 2026 4:00 am Just had another (the 3rd now, since the previous build) stuck note. Ahh, many thanks for info and workaround! Much appreciated! I was baffled as to why it was happening & getting ready to dig through all my Logic settings to see what I'd done wrong!tasmaniandevil wrote: Wed Apr 15, 2026 6:04 amThis is expected. Eight-Bit Conan uses the Yellow Filter, the one most heavy on CPU, which we recommend to mainly use in mono presets.IanFu wrote: Tue Apr 14, 2026 8:49 pm As an update to a problem of distortion during arpeggios that I reported a while back:
With the current beta, it seems this probably is limited to the above preset (there could be more, but not within the few dozen I tried) and it appears to be narrowed down to the overlap setting.
If you switch on Mono Overlap, you are allowing multiple voices, and this adds up quickly. If you want to play it with Overlap Mono activated, try reducing the Voices setting to two or three voices.

Yep, I saw that too and it'll be fixed. A colour named "invisible" was accidentally added for the curve in the backgroundpdxindy wrote: Wed Apr 15, 2026 11:36 pm Big MSEG Editor bug:
When I edit a Guide Curve in the big MSEG Editor, the selected MSEG curve does not show like it does in the Big Osc Editor.
