You can set these 2 preferences to "Ask":Palunto wrote: Tue May 12, 2026 10:04 am Currently I'm converting it to audio sequence if I want to loop which works well except:
- Option to only add markers without splitting when converting to audio sequence. In some cases splitting up the audio changes the timing sligthly and half the time I only want to loop the sequence not chop it.
Auto Create Transient Markers
Auto Snap New Audio Sequence Length
Then you have the choice.
Hold [Alt].- Shortcut function to move a clip up/down between tracks in timeline and audio sequence without moving it in time. Especially in audio sequence it would be nice to move between tracks without changing position (hard to do when it's off grid).
Solution: Make a new rack and route all these racks to that group rack, then use that group rack's fader.- Ability to select multiple racks at ones, mainly to adjust faders when the mix is good but level needs to be adjusted.

Doesn't work but I was using it wrong, did some testing and figured out what I was doing wrong and how to keep it in time. So for anyone else that likes to record audio and convert to audio sequence for looping/slicing but wants to keep the timing as recorded:
1. Do not resize audio stream from beginning as this will change timing. Only slice.
2. Do not extend audio stream clip length, this will keep timing but it will add empty space and this empty space will naturally not be included in the audio sequence since it's not audio -- and timing will change.
So if I just slice off what I don't want from recorded audio and convert, it all works fine. Then once I have an audio sequence I can adjust length and loop size etc.
Inside audio sequence holding Alt will preview the clip, is there a different key combo in that context?
