It works for me now too, but I had a problem specific to the Linux version. Pasting the solution here just in case it is useful to others (I have reported the problem to MI and Bitwig, so hopefully the documentation will be improved soon:
This is what I had to do in addition to the instructions in the documentation:
to install any AppImage app (at least on Ubuntu) . You only need to do this once.
where the “–no-sandbox” part is what makes it work. No idea why, I’m just copy&pasting solutions from the internet.
You only need to do this when you want to run the app.
On the first run, the Roto .bwextension is saved in the “Extensions” folder, and from there everything works fine. Next time you open Bitwig the Roto control is recognized automatically, and you don’t have to run the app.
This is what I had to do in addition to the instructions in the documentation:
Code: Select all
sudo apt install libfuse2t64Code: Select all
./ROTO-SETUP-3.1.0-x64.AppImage --no-sandboxOn the first run, the Roto .bwextension is saved in the “Extensions” folder, and from there everything works fine. Next time you open Bitwig the Roto control is recognized automatically, and you don’t have to run the app.

How is this going for everybody? Is there two-and-fro with tech support still? Are updates pending?
