Don't they normally do Fridays?

26th is my guess

Tuesdays, normally. Hence why the 16th was suggested.

Cherry Audio never ever clicked and gelled with me, visual-workflow wise.

Their busy, aliased and high contrasted GUI's full of noise and tiny settings always give me migraines, I always give up on their demos after 20 mins,

Really sucks cause they have really interesting synths and sonically they seem pretty solid. But I just can't stand their graphics, they are total eye-ache fuel for me.

Wasn't it usually a Tuesday, about 10 days after the first video?
One thing that bothers me is that they usually reveal the release date.
Since they're emphasizing the "1," it might be July 1st.

Teksonik wrote: Mon Jun 08, 2026 11:41 am It would really be a win-win for Creative to licence the firmware to developers for a fee since they wouldn't have to do the work or provide the support. Then we might see other emulations like the Fizmo etc....
One of the biggest mysteries to me is why doesn't Creative license the Emulator X plugin code to Arturia and/or its sample library based off the Proteus lineup which is from the E-3
Seems to me a "Proteus V" in the V collection would be a welcome addition and fill a hole that Arturia doesn't have with a Rompler
I agree that bringing back all the instruments under Creative's control would be welcome.

Seems like a missed business opportunity for them since they really wouldn't have to do anything other than grant licenses but who knows what goes through the minds of corporate executives. :?

Damn I didn't even consider their fuzzy GUIs. I imagine this one will not be of any higher quality. :dog:

Yep, officially announced now.

So they'll probably start working on it in the next day or two... ;)

Digital Sound Factory owns the Emu stuff now I think.

They license it from Creative and sell the presets as Kontact Libraries and Sound Fonts. It's not quite the same as it doesn't have the Z plane filters
