Sampler ‘generate similar sample’

In Sampler: How would I load a single snare sample, generate multiple ‘similar samples’ and then have Sampler play a different variation of the generated samples each time the note is triggered?
(Additionally: how would I control whether it switches variations in ‘Round Robbin’ vs ‘Randomize’)
