That was close! New Waves Version two days before my WUP ran out!
If you plan on purchasing your first Universal Audio hardware, you can get a free additional plugin. Just send a PM.

The Waves-system does say that I can get the latest version if I check the appropriate boxes,
but my current plan is still valid until October 16.
So it's best to wait until October 15 to get the latest version for a full year, right?

God updating Waves plugins, even without factoring in WUP, is so complicated! I did the update to 17 as prompted when I started Waves central but then I also had to go into my account and update the licenses then install them again.

If you extend WUP while still covered, a 1-year extension is added on top of your current end date.paolostylo wrote: Tue Jun 23, 2026 4:17 pm ...my current plan is still valid until October 16.

I know there are many free synths and effects plugins, but what are some of the really low cost/bargain plugins (not free) I may have forgotten about?
I’d like buy into a few of those developer’s products that deserve more attention. For example, I thought Odin was one of them, but that’s a free plugin.

There's a few really good independent developers in the Reason Rack Extension ecosystem. Even if you don't use Reason as a DAW, you can still use the instruments/effects as a VST3/AU/AAX plugin.Examigan wrote: Tue Jun 23, 2026 6:27 pm I know there are many free synths and effects plugins, but what are some of the really low cost/bargain plugins (not free) I may have forgotten about?
