I'm trying to install the latest version bitwig but instead I got this error message
I think it has something to do with the msi installer
I asked people for discord, they don't know what to do. Tried the support from bitwig, they are no help either.
I need to get this fixed immediately before I start to lose my patience. Can you guys PLEASE help me?

There's not a lot of info to go on, so any advice anyone can give you will probably be extremely generic and will probably have you going 'I already tried that'.
- Which version of windows are you running?
- Did you try to download the file again? From a different browser?
- Are you sure you downloaded the correct installer (x86 or ARM)?
- Did you encounter any problems installing an earlier version of Bitwig? Do you still have that version installed?
- Did you try installing it as administrator instead of just double clicking?
- Did you try running the MSI from a different directory (for instance moving/copying it to c:\temp_bitwig and then running it)?
- What kind of antivirus software are you running? Have you tried temporarily disabling it before installing?
- Is it every version of bitwig? Did you try any of the older versions (https://www.bitwig.com/previous_releases/) like 6.0.4 or 6.0.5?
- You say that bitwig support is no help, but what exactly did you ask? And what was their response?

I tried everything you said that's listed on your comment, nothing works on this latest version, unlike the previous version. I am so screwed right now
This is what the support said:
If that should not work, I am afraid we are completely out of suggestions here.

Hmm, that is a headscratcher. 6.1 went into beta yesterday, no luck with that one either?
Logically it has to be a problem with the file (that happens during download), a different process that is blocking the install (like a virus scanner / defender), or a corrupted setting in Windows (which could happen anytime during usage).
Only suggestions I have left (apart from reinstalling Windows) are long shots:
- have you tried downloading the file on a different device (like a tablet) and then copying it to your pc?
- have you tried shutting down every app/program that is running? Installers, things like steam, etc? Just shut down processes you see running
But honestly: I get the feeling something somewhere in your windows went wrong along the way and it's blocking your install.
Sucks, I hope you find a solution!

I am having a similar install issue with Bitwig. The install package opens, but does not install. Never had problems in the past.
Update: The issue was resolved with OS updates.

Loads of reasons this can happen, won't be anything to do with Bitwig themselves.
Corrupted download (very common) - checksum
Windows may have blocked it, so unblock it in Defender
msiserver not registered. Restart with: cmd: msiexec /unregister and then msiexec /register
Permissions not allowing. Try copying it to C:\Temp or your Desktop and running it as Administrator
Your AV may have quarantines part of the installer when you downloaded the .msi so undo that if so and download and install again
