Ads are off!! https://www.admiralquality.com/by-popular-demand/
Oh, my... This blog post alone is enough for me to never buy anything from them.

They basically shift the blame for the ads on Google, when in fact they have made their website a big billboard for Google to inject whatever content Google wants, without AQ even being able to know what is displayed to each visitor. But of course they have nothing to do with it, except for taking the money which is the only reason these "scammy looking" ads had to stay up so long.

Fortunately, these ads had only been "scammy looking". For a moment I thought they would in fact be scammy because they can have actual consequences when you click on them.

And the "100% bug free" stance is obviously bull$#!t as every serious developer knows.

Unprofessional on every level, IMO. No surprise they are banned and have to resort to use proxies to communicate here now.

It’s not poor little AQ’s fault. Blame Google! Mike’s just a victim of the megacorporate industry that forced this unhelpful bloat on his website!

Tried it but I feel like I can get way more kinds of different sounds with Stunningphaser. This one sounds kind of bland and normal and not so good at oldskool sounds. And it doesn't have as many sound shaping features but it's 7 X the price!!

For me it's Instant Phaser MKII, that made me stop looking

D16 has good stuff, but some of them plugins, Godfazer being one of them, are missing the magic

Antresol on the other hand, I like. But it's a Flanger

I love all phasers. Particularly true models of real hardware.
Eventide Instant Phaser MKII is at the top of my list.

I understand Andy Cytomic is working on a circuit modeled Phase 90. I can't wait for 2037 when it's finally available!

There are a few decent Phase 90 models out there, like Audiority and FazerTone (both are FREE!)
But none of them quite deliver that "reality turning inside out" sound of the real thing. I have high hopes for Andy's though.

Minimal Audio Ripple Phaser also deserved a shout. It's not modeled on hardware, but it can do some amazing things hardware can't.

2037 lol I’ll start saving up.

D16 GODFAZER does need at the very least an env follower on wet/dry to deliver otherwise it sounds dead, BITWIG is da bomb for this as it really makes it live and sound(pun intended) ^^

if I survive another 5 months of Softube ads, I'll get this one for free

Coder friends of mine all agree modern software is bloated, complexified and enshitified almost beyond believe. I know I sense it as a software user. It is in fact tied to a failure to provide quality by corporate leadership who are more focused on getting weathy than making good products. Mike is right, IMHO.

If someone can't (read: doesn't want to) use VST2, that is his problem!

There is nothing 'modern' in VST3, compared to VST2.

Especially the UIs, where the video (graphic) side of a plugin is sometimes more taxing on the computer than the audio side. Or just impossible to use with an older/lower specced computer. Example: I used to be able to run older versions of Massive X on mine (pre 1.5), but not the newer ones, one instance maxes out the CPU just because of the UI.

I bought this in 2018...

This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.
